Our story takes us back to 2012 where an openly gay judge refused to issue marriage licenses.
New York Daily News reported:
An openly gay Texas judge says she refuses to conduct marriage ceremonies for straight couples until same-sex couples can also wed.
Dallas County Judge Tonya Parker explained her decision Tuesday at a monthly meeting for the Stonewall Democrats of Dallas.
I do not perform them because it is not an equal application of the law. Period, she said, according to the Dallas Voice, a newspaper for the gay community.
So I usually will offer them something along the lines of, Im sorry. I dont perform marriage ceremonies because we are in a state that does not have marriage equality, and until it does, I am not going to partially apply the law to one group of people that doesnt apply to another group of people.
And its kind of oxymoronic for me to perform ceremonies that cant be performed for me, so Im not going to do it, she added.
Fast forward to 2015 to see the flip side of the coin with Kim Davis.
CNN Politics reports:
Kim Davis, the Kentucky clerk whos refused to issue same-sex marriage licenses, on Monday asked the Kentucky governor to immediately free her from jail, according to court documents obtained by CNN.
Mrs. Davis has went as far as asking Gov. Steve Beshear for a pardon but, Beshears office said Monday he wont respond, noting that the conflict was a matter between her and the courts.
Davis had refused to give licenses to same-sex couples after Junes Supreme Court decision on grounds that issuing the licenses would violate her Christian convictions against same-sex marriage.
So this brings us to a final question, where was the outrage and jail time for Tonya Parker?
The double standards that we see on a daily basis are mind numbing to say the least.

Black, lesbian, AND a judge?
She hit the “privileged class” lottery there.
Nobody needs to follow the law anymore.
It is the Obama legacy.

okay NOW....... ive heard EVERYTHING!
Once the “victims” get into power, they use their power to victimize normal people.
3 strikes.
I recommend life in prison for her crimes against our country and our culture.
Some folks is mo’ equal..
Said meeting being held in a former phonebooth...
The whole goal of the homosexual sexual deviant crowd is to force everyone else to accept and affirm their perverted idea of “marriage”.
That just isn’t going to happen.
So the homosexuals and sexual perverts are going for the next best thing: they have convinced judges to force their will upon the people, by judicial fiat, and using government to impose their will upon everyone else.
The ultimate goal of the homosexuals and sexual deviants is to get government out of the marriage and sex law business altogether, so that “anything goes”, including rape, incest, pedantry, beastiality, poligamy and all forms of sexual deviancy become legal and protected.
If that comes to pass, the US ceases to exist,
She’s a judge; you can’t send a god to jail.
Fairness? Equality under the law? Give me a break.
When are we going to stop pretending that liberal activity is about anything other than their inexorable march towards communism?
Well, This Judge, Like the County Clerk are ELECTED OFFICIALS.
If their constituents do not approve of what they are doing, then they can be Recalled, or someone else elected next time.
That is the CONSTITUTIONAL remedy for these situations.
For some jackbooted thug or black robed Judiciarch to throw them in jail for the way they choose to interpret their own rights and duties is despotism too.
............
Phone booth? Hardly, more likely a convention center.Dallas has many many homosexuals and even more Democrats.
I can also tell you this got no media even here in Dallas
contrast that with the firestorm the clerk in KY is enduring.
Double standard, thy name is leftist
