Losing 2.1 Billion a year? Wow. Impressive. Not even the Obama vacations waste that much money.

Obama and his ilk spent $85 billion dollars per MONTH on what is called Quantitative Easing. They did this for at least 5 YEARS. Approximately one half was for T-bill purchases to legitimize and collateralized our debt that massively increased to cover mainly entitlements and liberal programs. The other half was used to buy Mortgaged Backed Securities (can anybody say renamed bundled credit derivatives of junk mortgages?). It is no wonder the Stock Market was so happy....happy as long as QE still exists...... The other part - debt- well, that’s the Fed and they police themselves.

When you’re making that much money, what’s the point of making more?

Per Wikipedia:

At the height of its power, the Medellín drug cartel was smuggling fifteen tons of cocaine per day, worth more than half a billion dollars, into the United States.

And did he ever once say gracias to American junkies?

Banks, and one in particular were caught and fined for laundering Billions in drug money. They were fined the equivalent of a few days of profit and had their hand slapped. Escobar is nothing but a player in an extremely large game led by existing governments and politicians. Most of us live in one such country.

The rats in this country eat up more money than that.

All those lives he helped ruin. “What does it profit a man....?” comes to mind.

great netflix series “Narcos” shows the scenes described in the article ...

Escobar was a very interesting figure, usually dressed casually as if he was going to Wal-Mart to buy a bag of ice ...

The only demonstrable effect of the War on Drugs is to give psychopaths literally more money than they know what to do with.
