And the auto parts manufacturers in the U.S. supplying these plants fold. Sounds like a plan to me.

Trump showing his complete and utter ignorance of how manufacturing works.

Let 'em fold...I was willing to 'let 'em fold' when the bail out for GM and Chrysler was forced upon us...

If they can't afford to do business in the U.S. for the U.S. market, they shouldn't be in business in the U.S...

LOL! As if the cars will suddenly stop being manufactured and therefor not require parts to be made. Back before we started all this "treat other countries more favorable than our own" nonsense, Americans could afford the cars they wanted, raise families, etc., on a single average paycheck. Getting those jobs back in the US of A will cause some initial pain but will have a long-term stabilizing affect on us. Globalists may think they have something good but the deck is rigged to hurt Americans and enslave the world - national pride and protection of one's own seems to have become passe' despite so many of us who lived through the changes of increasing prosperity becoming "put the whole family to work to get by and watch as costs go up while wages stagnate".

Why should we continue our journey to third-world status to keep bolstering third-world socialists?

Are you clueless and don't know that China has massive tariff and fines on all products made outside of China !,

We have been repeatedly raped for decades by elites who moved all the manufacturing outside the US and screwed over there Fellow American to squeeze a few bucks.

We are evolving into a nation with no manufacturing base which is national suicide .

Why would they fold since those cars will still be built, just built in the USA? Seems like you hate Americans and prefer the jobs for Mexicans.
