Pretty simple. Gotta use lower-cost international labor to compete in a global market. The two options are offshoring and H1-Bs. Most sizable companies use both, which means you can’t even compete against other American companies without doing the same.

I have wondered the same thing. But this is what is happening. Moreover, it you don't agree with how they want you to think, you will lose your job even though it has nothing to do with job performance.

We saw when Trump spoke out about illegal aliens, how corporations tried to silence him and sent out a message to the rest of the country: You will be punished if you aren't PC. Macy's, NASCAR, PGA, ESPN, others. Only Trump is too rich for them to have an impact.
