Actor George Clooney, a major Obama fundraiser, said he is seriously considering backing Joe Biden over Hillary Clinton in 2016.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, sources in the entertainment industry hub say Clooney is genuinely thinking about supporting the vice president if he jumps into the 2016 race for the Democratic nomination.
Clooney, who held a fundraiser for President Obama at his home in 2012 that netted $15 million for his reelection campaign, has spoken negatively about Hillary Clinton in the past. The actor reportedly labeled Clinton “the most polarizing figure in American politics” in 2006. Clooney ultimately endorsed Obama in 2008.
However, he told Fusion host Jorge Ramos earlier this year that he would support Clinton in 2016, months before rumors about a Biden candidacy began brewing.

I hope Clinton gets the nomination as she is losing so much support from her own base. Hell even MSNBC is not pushing her unlike CNN.
Joe isn’t a genius, but he isn’t the buffoon that he has played as VP, trying to make Baraq look like the executive by contrast.
In the Senate, he was Harry Reid before there was a Harry Reid.
It’s astonishing that anybody would write a check to a politician at the behest of George Clooney. He’s no smarter than your average butcher or bus driver, with much less of an idea what it’s like to be an average American trying to stay ahead.
Can’t stand her and I always make sure the TV is never on her channel when I am not watching the TV so as not to add to her ratings which are going down.
