I’m sorry I didn’t read the article - just the title. But the thing that grabbed me the most is that picture of the Capitol Dome being restored. Millions of dollars of specially designed scaffolding erected to protect it while it is being repaired.
To my mind, it should have been shrouded with a large black arm band to mourn the government we once had. A government that has become so infested self-serving lying politicians that lie to us in order to get elected and then at the drop of a hat stab us in the back.
