On September 24 the gun control group founded by Gabby Giffords and Mark Kelly used Pope Francis’s address to Congress as an opportunity to request a $3 donation from gun control supporters.
The gun control group–Americans for Responsible Solutions (ARS)–quoted the Pope as saying, “We have to ask ourselves: Why are deadly weapons being sold to those who plan to inflict pain untold suffering on individuals and society?”

Why don’t the liberals just refer to her as “the president’s favorite vegetable” like they did with Brady after the Reagan shooting?

Gabby was my rep, she was for the second amendment before she was against it, and her ambitious husband tries to use it as a wedge issue.
BTW, the woman who saved Gabby’s bacon, knew about guns, that is how she was e able to pull the clip out as she was underneath the shooter. One of the rescuers had a gun on him, but did not use it because it was not safe under those conditions, and a man with a gun, came running after hear the shots.
She never talks about those heroes or the Godly people that threw their bodies over others to save them and who later died themselves.

I don’t really think Giffords does much of anything but act as prop for Kelly’s money raising shindigs.
