If both the revolutionary front and ISIS are gone....they don’t need the enhanced military strength deal. They just recruit the typical 18-year old kid for two years and things are back to the norm. You have to remember....before Arab Spring events...the military of Syria was a quiet job with no threats.

Yes, I'm sure the benevolent Russians will pull out, since they are afraid of what international opinion of them will be if they stay, and because they were just there solely to defend their own limited interests in Syria (as they told Netanyahu). They will leave Assad with new nuclear reactors (for peaceful purposes, of course, wouldn't want Israel to worry), and the UN will make nice with Assad after seeing what a humanitarian he is. Syria will be appointed to the U.N. Human Rights Commission as a gesture of reconciliation by the U.N.
