The Biggest Scam of the 2016 Election
Conservative Review ^ | October 12th, 2015 | Steve Deace

Posted on 10/12/2015 9:01:24 PM PDT by SteveinSATX

Either the media and the Republican National Committee charged with overseeing the debate participation criteria are guilty of a negligence bordering on malfeasance, or they are conspiring together to gerrymander the outcome of the 2016 nomination.

How else do you explain the systemically flawed process of permitting public opinion polls, with questionable accuracy, to determine which candidates in a crowded field get access to a debate stage with over 20 million potential voters watching?

These are the same polls whose very pollsters have said in not one, but two major media outlets in recent days they don’t trust their own findings. Furthermore, the granddaddy of all polling firms, Gallup, just announced it is pulling out of the primary polling business altogether because it doesn't believe its own methodology is reliable. Gallup also says it may discontinue polling before the general election next year for the same reason. And this news all comes on the heels of the bulk of the public polling industry also admitting it misread the 2014 electorate. Yet these are the very entities we are using to decide which candidates for the highest office in all the land get a fair hearing before the American people?

I would strongly disagree that the Republican National Committee was on some gerrymandering strategy to come out ahead. Their guys are all sitting around number four or beyond on the polls, and RNC PACs are achieving almost nothing for the money spent. At the current rate, I suspect Jeb will drop out by the fifth state primary and most will fold up shortly after that.

Only because there is currently no alternative to reaching the audience...

Or is there.....

Oh yes there is, happens all the time...

Think PPV but free, Internet broadcast and Q&A enabled gathers real world real time data not polluted polls or focus groups...

Humbly I submit this and I have a kit of background in Video delivery in business...

When this works the Media is dead...

Not to mention the astonishing and outrageous fact of the Right letting the Left run the Right’s show, decide on the format of what is not close to a true “debate”, and frame the discussion and call the shots.

Is Gallup dropping out because they can’t determine how the votes will be cast in an election, or because they can’t predict how they will be counted?

"Not to mention the astonishing and outrageous fact of the Right letting the Left run the Right’s show"

Conservatives tend to discourage their kids from getting a worthless communications or journalism degree.

We're lucky there are enough kinda-sorta conservative journalists to supply people to Fox which ran one of the debates.

There is plenty of blame to go around for why the conservative message is stymied by a primarily liberal media.

All of the candidates can put up dozens of funny, interesting, thought-provoking, etc. videos on YouTube for free.

If the videos are engaging enough then they will get views.

Twitter, Facebook, paying a bit to get better Google scores, etc. are other strategies to get around the MSM to a huge chunk of the potential voting population.

Cruz's address to congress on the scam that is the Republican Senate was extremely watchable and compelling.

We are stuck but the Republicans have used us for their agenda and threw us under the bus. Larry Kudlow this past Sat eve went into a furious rant about it and how they should have passed bills even though Obama would veto them.

I don't see eye to eye with him on immigration but he hit the nail on the head with his rant and made me feel better.

If Donald Trump wasn’t running this Article would have never been written. I guess it’s all part of the fun.

There also wouldn’t be a potential of 20 Million Republican Debate Viewers of he wasn’t there. More like 2 Million would watch, if that.

Boy, this is one interesting Election Cycle.
