Every day brings us closer to what I'm convinced will be a VERY UGLY time in what remains of America, the IDEA! The "progressives" (aka "communists") will continue pushing until they provoke a reaction from those who still remember what freedom was. As was the case in 1775, the flash point will almost certainly be a thrust to seize private firearms and related items. It is then that we will see what their plans are for those MILLIONS OF ROUNDS of ammunition and thousands of weapons now in the hands of previously UNARMED bureaucracies.
Oh, did I mention that millions of brainwashed, Obama worshiping idiots -- many of them your left leaning neighbors, friends and, yes, FAMILY MEMBERS, will join forces with the other side in "fingering" you as an "enemy of the new state" and help them hunt you down? These are the Quislings who, throughout history, have always been anxious to feed others to the tyrannical T-Rex of a despotic state in the moronic belief that the creature will no longer be hungry when it gets to them. These FOOLS forget that that creature is ALWAYS HUNGRY!

My concern is pleasing the LORD. Based on His commendation of Rahab, I believe one can be a “traitor” to their own people and yet please HIM, while lying to boot!
How does one know, though? God established the authorities. If we believe our founders were with God in that sense, then via the foundation they laid we have a clear right to resist our government should it turn godless and wicked.
When has this ever been easy or clear? We are highly armed but still froglike, adjusting to each raising of the water temperature. We should call on Him for wisdom and ask not to be delivered over to the villains working hard for their father Satan behind the scenes.
Who registers their guns?
It'ss why antigunners cannot be reasoned with (their position isn't based on reason they keep calling for more gun free zones when the evidence is that mass murderers go to gun free zones) Anti-gunners cannot be bargained with A. they don't have anything to offer and B. They NEVER keep their side of the agreement - NEVER. They feel no pity remorse guilt or fear. The only thing they feel is elation when they've moved an incremental step close to their oft stated goal - a county where only the police and military are armed. They don't feel fear because they (unlike us) have absolutely nothing to lose. Gun control doesn't pass so what they don't lose anything. Gun control passes, and we lose freedom, and they're already readying the media drumbeat for the next step to "close the loophole, etc."
They will never stop unless A. we are totally disarmed, B. We are killed resisting arrest byt their jackbooted minions who WILL carry out unconstitutional or evil orders, or C. they and enough of their "hero" minions are killed to push the problem to the next generation.

The fact is that guns are fairly easy to make if you don’t expect them to be very accurate.
A gun is basically a hole in a piece of metal with a handle and hammer attached.
Even a six-shot revolver is fairly easy to make.
Ammunition is harder to make, but if you’ve bought 5,000 rounds, Big Brother has no idea if you’ve shot off 5,000, 4,900 or just 1,100.
With about 3 million square miles in the USA, hiding stuff is quite feasible.

Armed conflict (Which I am convinced is what the Ruling Class wants anyway) will result in empty shelves across the nation for which YOU and those 25 million will be blamed for.
It did not require armies of Gestapo to subdue the German people who opposed Hitler. It only took one Gestapo officer in each village and virtual privation for neighbors to settle old scores and even turn in family members in order to get an extra ration.
