What the heck is going on? First of all, Huma Abedin was allowed to testify behind closed doors. That should not have been sanctioned. She should have had to testify in public. The FBI is stone walling the case and not aggressively going after Hillary Clinton and her lieutenants like Huma Abedin. Now, Trey Gowdy doesn’t even show at her hearing and says there is no particular reason for it. This morning I heard that Clinton warned the GOP to lay off Abedin and now this. Abedin should have been raw meat for a prosecutor like Gowdy. This makes no sense whatsoever and it looks very, very bad. Cummings was almost an hour late as well. In fact, so many were late that Abedin left and came back. Just shaking my head over this.

I have been surprised SO many times in the past 7 years that I’m now constantly looking for the bad in even the seemingly best politicians.

One could almost surmise that the Republican leadership isn’t really interested in justice, that—to them—the whole investigation is about politics.
Gowdy wasn’t there? Something is going on...it could be good or it could be bad. But my general feeling is .... WTF?
Sounds like it is over and Gowdy has been told that he will get nowhere. Close the book or else and he is unwilling to keep up appearances.
I think the uniparty bosses took a look at the Trump vs. Hillary numbers and decided she couldn’t take any more hits.
Perhaps keeping his powder dry? You honestly didn’t expect her to say anything, did you? Let his minions get the non-answers and not reveal his hand. That would be the most charitable answer.

I’m sure the entire committee put together the questions and Gowdy’s presence isn’t necessary. It’s one of those “you know the answer that’s coming”.
I don’t trust anyone who can work with corrupt scumbags without exposing them. Change will have to come from outside the DC cesspool.
Huma grew up in Saudi Arabia. She never lived in Iran as far as I can see.
Very true, Mr. McGee, and back in the day Michelle Bachmann went to the Nth degree to sound the alarms and get these people investigated.
Everyone from 0bama to McCain to the msm treated her like an ignorant child for that. Infuriating.
Many say ‘Joe McCarthy was right’. Now we can also add ‘Michelle Bachmann was right’ as well.
