Because everyone knows if she DID something wrong she’d be in jail for it. And you and I both know she won’t spend a day behind bars for any of it. Nor will any of the underlings involved.
People who know the Clintons know they're filthy as hell. The reason she isn't going to spend any time in jail for it it isn't because she's done nothing wrong. It's because of a) morons like your friends, who don't care about the facts b) Democrats obstructing the investigation and c) hand-wringing "conservatives" whining about "nothing will come of this so let's just never do anything about anything."

Just you try to explain to the average voter WHY, IF, Clinton did something illegal she isn’t in prison.
These hearings will do nothing but help her with the ‘poor little me’ persona.
The uniparty (who supports Hillary and/or Jeb, they don’t care which really) benefits exclusively from these hearings.

She’s not going to do jail time. She won’t be fined. Neither will any of her minions.
These hearings are to shut up the conservatives who want ‘something done’ and to give Hillary a talking point with the electorate.
