The wife of a man who was killed at random while running near White Rock Lake two weeks ago took her own life Sunday, authorities said.

Patti Stevens, 54, a physical therapist, was found dead of suspected suicide at her home in the 200 block of Brazos Lane in Sunnyvale, said Raul Reyna, a spokesman for the Dallas County Sheriff's Department.

This is a very sad story. The murderer was a Texas A & M football player and quit suddenly in his freshman year. He hacked his victim to death with a machete.

This is absolutely as tragic as it gets. Cute, in love couple, gone in a flash and in such a horrible way. Prayers for them and all that knew them.

Wow... I wanted to die for years after I lost my husband but I never considered suicide. My heart breaks for their family and friends. What a sad, sad development. Rest in peace...

Yup. And I just posted another story about black on white murder. Nothing from the white hut on either story. You can bet Obummer would be all over both stories if it were the other way around.

Another son of obama in what was a “random act of violence.”

So sorry for this couple.

The unexpected and tragic death of a beloved spouse is very difficult to deal with and accept. It stays with you 24/7 forever. Many of us here on FR have had to deal with that and still do.

This is a very sad and tragic story indeed.

Killer

Johnson famously walked away, literally, from Texas A&M during a successful freshman season in 2012, and never returned to football.

This is such a horrible and heartbreaking story.

I turn 67 next week and 4 days later, I will have been with my wonderful and beautiful Bride for 44 years. She is why my heart bothers to beat, she is why I bother to take my next breath. After all of these years, she remains my only fantasy.

If I lost my Bride, I do not believe that I would commit suicide, but I am just as certain that I wouldn’t live more than a few weeks. I am old now and when she is not in the same room with me I feel old -so very old, but each time she is near, I feel young again. She is my everything.

My impression is that this couple had a similar love. It is unfortunate that this dear lady couldn’t find a way to live through this, but I think I completely understand why she felt that she couldn’t go on.

My they both RIP.

This is Obama’s America...it sure isn’t mine anymore.

“......a man who was killed at random....”

Killed at random my white a$$. This Black scum knew he was about to kill a white man and with each cut he knew he was killing a white man.

A little over 7 years ago there wasn’t a racist bone in my body. Regrettably, I can no longer say that with a straight face.

I live near Dallas, and from what I can figure, this one might actually not be about race. I think that the guy is literally crazy.

More on the loony toon ex-football star who killed her husband>>>>>

http://www.si.com/college-football/2015/10/13/former-texas-am-football-player-thomas-linze-johnson-kills-jogger-dallas-police
Dallas Police: Former Texas A&M football player admits to killing jogger
Former Texas A&M wide receiver Thomas Linze Johnson admitted to killing a jogger in a Dallas park with a “large-edged weapon” out of rage on Monday morning, Dallas police announced.

****** He used a machete to hack away and kill him??? Large edged? As in machete? I just bought a wicked one last weekend and it can really do damage and quick. Its so large it almost like a sword. Best used with both arms.
****** Bought for gardening and pruning and yard work.

This guy needs to be given a long drop on a short rope. It being Texas, he might get what he deserves.
