Was he REALLY a rapper, or was he just aspiring to be one. It would be a shame for him to be cut down with a budding career ahead of him. Wonder if his momz, or aunty, will get in front of a TV camera telling the world what a good boy he was.
If you go and read the history on this guy....it’d make for a five-star movie. German mother, Ghana father....the father packed up and left early in life. The mother married some US Army officer and the kid had zero respect for the step-father. From teens to twenty...this kid was in and out of trouble....zero potential for making it in life.
In 1995 (age 20), he’s become some third-rate street rapper and doing drug sales on the side. Eight years later, he finally gets arrested and does real jail time. He emerges from prison with real rap potential and hooks up with a music organization/contract. The problem is...by this point, the guy is showing real psychological problems (either from drugs or just plain crazy).
For four brief years, this guy has some mythical success with rap and is actually recognized, at least in Germany. Somewhere around 2010, this guy has a car accident....has some type of concussion, and quits rap. He undergoes some conversion to Islam, and by 2011...he’s in serious trouble for weapon charges by the German govenrnment. He up and leaves Germany, and ends up in the Syrian war.
There...oddly, he becomes some musical DJ-music dude....making rap songs over the war and positive image of ISIS (go figure). At some point in 2014, some ‘spy’ among ISIS walks out and provides tons of information to European authorities about their operations. Oddly, Denis (Deso Dogg) is the guy who happened to move doors and get this person into private meetings. My reading indicates that Deso wasn’t exactly appreciated after this spy episode came out, and had to basically hide out among ISIS connections.
Whether he’s really dead or not....I’m skeptical. But if you were look for five-star movie material...the Dogg is it.
