Stop it. Cruz has no chance to beat Hillary. He is fine on many issues and not so good on several important ones. Cruz’s personality does not play well on a national stage. He comes off as scripted and insincere and like the kid in school who has all the answers and has been preparing for public office since the 6th grade. All true of Hillary as well but that’s why he won’t work. Trump on the other hand is a creator of things and despite his billions comes across as an Everyman. George W had it, Bill Clinton exhibited that and Reagan exhibited it the most of all. That’s why Trump will be President Trump in a little over a year.

Cruz has no chance to beat Hillary.

Not sure that I agree with that entirely, but, your points are well taken. Yes, Trump can beat Hillary. IMO, Carson could prolly pull enough Black votes that he could defeat her also. The comparison between an attractive, youthful, articulate Hispanic and the old hag could easily propel Rubio to victory with the help of low-information voters who don’t vote on substance. As far a Cruz, my only consolation in America missing out on a great President is that he could be Atty. Gen. or appointed to the Supreme Court.

Stop it. Cruz has no chance to beat Hillary.

And Reagan had no chance to beat Carter. And Dole, McCain, and Romney were "electable."

To the extent one credits the current polls, the latest Quinnipiac Poll (link Post #9 above) found:

Clinton 46 trump 43;
Cruz 46 Clinton 43

More significantly, the poll separated black and white votes— among whites virtually all the GOP is in the 50’s- while Clinton is in the mid-40’s.

If Clinton doesn’t get a large black turnout, she likely loses.

I’ve decided I won’t vote for Cruz if he is the nominee. I lost it for the Republicans last spring, and the more recent votes just confirm my disappointment.

I became a Conservative at midnight on November 3, but if my party selects Cruz, I won’t vote.

Stop it. Cruz has no chance to beat Hillary.

Is that Why Ted Cruz is beating Hilary Clinton in the latest Quinnipiac University polls by 3-points even as Donald Trump is losing to Hilary by 3 points? Trump has been pals with Hilary for ages.

Cruz is fine on many issues and not so good on several important ones.

Cruz crushes Trump on almost any issue you'd care to bring up.

In the final analysis....I think it will come down to who is not owned/beholden to PACs or special interest groups.

That, and trade agreements that we know are primarily set up to line the pockets of politicians and lobbyists....so that the euphoric cycle of profiting off of the taxpayers can continue.

Americans are truly sick of that, in politicians. Secondly, illegal immigration stances. They both go hand in hand, btw.
