The day after Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was killed in 1968, Ben Carson’s black classmates unleashed their anger and grief on white students who were a minority at Detroit’s Southwestern High.
Mr. Carson, then a junior with a key to a biology lab where he worked part time, told The Wall Street Journal last month that he protected a few white students from the attacks by hiding them there.
It is a dramatic account of courage and kindness, and it couldn’t be confirmed in interviews with a half-dozen of Mr. Carson’s classmates and his high school physics teacher. The students all remembered the riot. None recalled hearing about white students hiding in the biology lab, and Mr. Carson couldn’t remember any names of those he sheltered.
“It may have happened, but I didn’t see it myself or hear about it,†said Gregory Vartanian, a white classmate of Mr. Carson’s who served in the ROTC with Mr. Carson and is now a retired U.S. Marshal.
Mr. Carson’s biography, a rise from poverty to become a top neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins University, is central to his candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination. Now, his story—told in nine books and countless inspirational speeches over the past 25 years—has come under the harsh scrutiny of presidential politics, where rivals and media hunt for embellishments and omissions that can hobble a campaign.

I’m not a Carson fan, but the pyramid thing is silly. Who the hell cares? The POTUS is not expected to be an Egyptologist, so as far as I’m concerned, he can say ridiculous things about the pyramids all day long and it will not change my opinion of him.

As Dr. Carson has complained, why are we learning so much about Carsons personal history, when we never got answers to the key questions that we had asked about presidential candidate Obamas personal history?

I believe that Dr. Carson wants Amnesty for illegal aliens. He’s not lying about that.

You’re exactly correct. If he were white, he would have been laughed off the stage, and his poll numbers would be in Lindsey Graham territory. Just as everyone gave 0bama a pass, Carson is given a pass. I always ask Carson supporters how giving 0bama a pass because of his color has worked out for the country. Carson would be the exact same, given the fact that he has publicly stated that his goals are the same as Al Sharpton’s.
Here we go again. The systematic targeting of the front runner by MSM who then bows out of the race and the next one steps up. This really hasn’t worked for Trump but it has worked in the past.

Dr Ben Carson is finding out that conservative black men are not allowed to leave the Democrat Plantation.
The treatment Carson is getting reminds me of the treatment Clarence Thomas received when he was tarred and feathered by the Democrat slave owners during his Supreme Court confirmation hearings.

I can walk upstairs in my house, grab a transcript, and see the name, number, and grade (unfortunately), of EVERY CLASS that I took...and I AM NOT a brain surgeon.
