Brenda Smith-Lezama, vice president of the Missouri Students Association, appeared on MSNBC Tuesday afternoon to express her disdain at people using their First Amendment rights to create a "hostile" and "unsafe" learning environment. Smith-Lezama advocated for a safe space for "healing" rather than "experiencing a lot of hate."
"I personally am tired of hearing that first amendment rights protect students when they are creating a hostile and unsafe learning environment for myself and for other students here," Smith-Lezama said on MSNBC. "I think that it's important for us to create that distinction and create a space where we can all learn from one another and start to create a place of healing rather than a place where we are experiencing a lot of hate like we have in the past."
Smith-Lezama said the treatment of a student journalist who was accosted on Monday should be a "teachable moment" for those who approach the protestors with "hostility."

This reads like satire.
"unsafe" = Refused to leave public area
Stupid of this magnitude will eventually become fatal. She will eventually talk herself into a situation where she is in mortal danger, and then she will blame whitey, until the axe actually falls.

Brenda, dear, consider why you’re permitted to say that without being shot by the government. You can have it either way but you can’t have it both ways.
Brenda Smith-Lezama was completely destroyed by the comments on RCP site a couple of days ago when I looked. Didn’t need to add my 2 cents.
Perhaps the best way for these young skulls full of mush to find peace is a formal debate class. If you want to be a good debater you need to be able to listen to both sides of an issue, something woefully lacking in today’s “students”. Then you must be able to rationally analyze both sides, because you may be for “Idea A” in one debate, and the next debate you are against “Idea A”.
I learned this in high school 50 years ago. What is wrong with our education system that alleged college students haven’t learned this lesson already?
Stupid on parade.
Maybe she would feel safer in Cuba or Venezuela or North Korea where politically incorrect speech can get you executed.
Don’t like the First Amendment? Fine, I’m tired of hearing from you, Brenda.
Click.
She’s saying her feelings trump the rights of others.
The feelings of others, though, are assumed to be based on “hate”, so they have no rights compared to hers.

Free speech — to progressives — has always meant shouting down anyone they don’t agree with.
Oh puhleeze...
A friend of mine posted something on another site where he said the movie “Idiocracy” started off as satire, but is now becoming more and more like a documentary.
I'll shut up and listen to anything she has to say as long as she wears her swimsuit.

What a horrible life they have ahead of them.
How will they manage?
For the next 50, 60, or 70, years they will be beleagured by inconsiderate people making random statements and speaking their minds, walking where they want to go and making disturbing body noises.
Much of the news lately does.
I’m having a real hard time reconciling the proliferation of bizarre news headlines with my real life experiences.
