Friday the 13ths are generally good days for me.

Looks like Trump has that same mindset.

Carson’s comeback to Trump’s insults: ‘Pray for him’

‎11‎/‎13‎/‎2015‎ ‎9‎:‎46‎:‎19‎ ‎AM · 111 of 119
HarleyLady27 to SeekAndFind

In his book “One Nation: What We can all do to save America”
In this book, he tells of this story:

“A classmate came along and began to ridicule me. I had a camping knife in my hand and without thinking, I lunged at him plunging the knife into his abdomen”

In his book: “Gifted Hands” :

Carson relates that in his youth he once tried to hit his mother in the head with a hammer over a clothes dispute.

Also in this same book: “While he was in the ninth grade he tried to stab a friend for changing the radio station”

In Carson’s book: “America the Beautiful” “He said that on November 4, 2015 he changed to Republican. He was an Independent in the 1990’s..In Feb 2013 he said he was not a member of any political party”

That is why Carson should not be President, we are not looking for Padre or Priest or Imam to be President.

I’ll say it again EVERY Republican primary voter needs to know Carson tried to murder two people in his past. I’ll bet more than half of the Carson supporters don’t know it

I don’t understand why you’re calling my questioning your posts a personal blast.

My issue with you is NOT PERSONAL. They are ISSUE SPECIFIC.

Let me tell you this, even if Trump is not my candidate, I’d vote for him over Hillary if he were the GOP nominee.

That is exactly what you were doing, and you know it...when ever anyone doesn’t say what you want to hear, you do this...

The ‘oh poor little me’ act doesn’t work on me...you can’t take the truth, I gave it to you and you want me to do more to make your life easier, well I’m not going to and I told you that...

GO TRUMP GO!!!

Yeah. Instead, let's have a real estate mogul who inherited wealth and who ONLY became famous as charismatic showman reality TV show host, and who at least until 2011 donated slightly more of in $1.3 million of his hard-earned money to the political campaigns of Democrats (including Harry Reid) than to Republicans.

In other words, Trump put personal financial gain and the gain of his shareholders over politics, supporting political tyrants if it helped his and his shareholder's bottom line.

Great for business -- BAD for liberty. The guys who signed the Declaration of Independence were all businessmen trying to make a living and would have gained financially if they had accepted it as "the cost of doing business" to support the Crown.

Instead, they put financial gain aside and risked their property, their profits, and their very lives, literally, to create the USA that Trump now aspires to lead, though he quite materially helped put Harry Reid in office.

Being apolitical (that is, without reference to political philosophy but supporting whichever political party candidate will benefit the bottom line regardless of philosophy) is fine in a businessman.

In a politician, it's as bad as bad gets -- lack of political compass means betrayal for everyone who votes for that candidate based on politics. Trump brings an apolitical businessman's mindset to government, and that is a BAD thing. A business needs to grow and prosper and return profits to shareholders. Government needs to be limited, held back, squelched, and tightly reigned in.

Carson and Trump are both flawed.

Cruz to victory.

RE: That is exactly what you were doing, and you know it...when ever anyone doesn’t say what you want to hear, you do this..

Again, look at my posts from the other thread in response to your attacks on Ben Carson.

SEE HERE:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3359747/posts

I SIMPLY ASKED QUESTIONS regarding your allegations of Ben Carson’s alleged “lying”. In other words, I ask for INCONTROVERTIBLE EVIDENCE.

THAT’s ALL. Nothing related to YOU personally ( unless of course, you equate criticism of Trump to criticism of yourself ).

RE: GO TRUMP GO!!!

Go ahead and cheer him on. You have every right to do so. And I have every right to vet him, as you have every right to vet other candidates.

RE: Carson is a weirdo only an imbecile would vote for him

He might have some out of the world theories on his own, like when and for what reason the Pyramids were built.

But I would not call someone who is a top neurosurgeon, who has has performed THOUSANDS of life saving surgeries and someone who managed a group of medical experts in order to successfully separate conjoined twins a wack job.

The great scientist Isaac Newton had a lot of strange theories regarding the Bible. That does not make him any less a great scientist, nor does it lessen his accomplishments.

One thing I have found true of every single surgeon I have ever met with, and there have been quite a few, they do NOT like any challenge or questioning of their plan for you. None. You can ask about what they intend to do to you, as it regards basics, but don’t appear to challenge, dig too deeply or express concern on their ability to bring the desired results. Especially that last one. And the better the surgeon, the less you can question. I don’t mean it in a bad way, but they truly seem to feel themselves above question in some ways. They are dismissive, always on a timer (understandable), and many do indeed have a God complex. Every thing they do is right because it is they who is doing it.

Carson does seem a bit of a weird guy, and likely his weird stories from his youth are exaggerated to help sell books. He does seem to be quite invested in selling books. While everyone belittles Trump for being a fame hog, few mention this in Carson - who has a movie made about him and has had a bit part or two in movies. Now, is it the same sort of thing? Of course not, but it IS self-promotion. Carson is a good man, yes. Does being a top neurosurgeon fit a person for the Presidency? It doesn’t disqualify a person certainly. But Dr. Carson was not even on the radar for this job until he squared off on Obama at the prayer breakfast. Prior to that, no one was out there calling for him to run.
I think the way he handled this latest Trump thing was very classy. I was surprised by Trumps weird remarks, and think it is off-putting and outside of the boundaries of his claim to only counter-attack. I lean more towards Trump over Dr. Carson, but his stunt yesterday made me wince.
