Trump will turn the terrorist WATCH list into the terrorist DEPORT list..

Why do the Dems support a ban on gun sales to terror watch list individuals but NOT increased screening for Syrian 'refugees'???? Hmmmmm...

"Nominations to the Terrorist Screening Database are not accepted if they are based solely on race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, or First Amendment-protected activities, such as free speech, the exercise of religion, freedom of the press, freedom of peaceful assembly, or petitioning the government for redress of grievances." This is from the FBI website.

Makes you wonder what the 700,000 did and why are they walking around.

"What are the critria for getting on that list? Who determines who is added?"

Precisely. Given the ideological and moral sewer our present political class exists in, these kind of lists will be comprised of anyone they are prejudiced against or who poses a threat to their power. Our government, MSM and our "education" establishment couldn't give a tinkers damn about what terrorists might do to traditional Americans.

A few weeks ago I was watching a documentary about Papa Doc Duvalier (and his vile son Baby Doc). When the documentary reached the part about the Tonton Macoute, I was immediately reminded of Obamas expressed desire to have a well armed and staffed civilian "security force." It's my fervent belief that the American Left would deploy them without hesitation against "counter-revolutionaries."

So you believe that people on that list should be locked up?

What about people that are on that list simply because they served in the military.

Want to lock them up too.

What about anyone associated with the TEA Party?

After all we were told after the 2010 attempted car bombing in NYC, which they tried to blame on the TEA Party, the TEA Party were all terrorist.

How convenient for the Obama adm. the IRS had started demanding the names of anyone associated with TEA Party groups so they would know who to put on the terrorist watch list.

Want to lock them up too?

DoJ says the biggest terrorist threat is from “ right wing extremist”.

Of course anyone that disagrees with Obama is called a right wing extremist so lets put them all on the list and lock them up.

Careful what you wish for you might just get it.

I don’t trust this administration to not add every conservative Christian that reveres the Constitution.

I agree!! Sounds like back door gun control to me.

It would appear to be near-impossible to get on that list given the political correctness of that FBI statement.

Without reading the entire article or all the comments. I'm just going to speculate that

According to demo'rats, you just might be a terrorist if:

1. You are a member of Free Republic
2. You support the 2nd Amendment

“I read that there are 700,000 people on that list. What are the critria for getting on that list? Who determines who is added?”

700,000 is the low estimate. The public is not allowed to know who is on it or why.

This proposal is just a way to allow the government to confiscate guns from anyone they want to at any time they want to. The list is completely discretionary.

If the Democrats succeed with that then conservatives and Christians will shortly all be on the government terror list.

Because they can’t really arrest all the Christians and Constitutionalists in the country, not yet.
