Our Muslim fellow citizens have never spoken out about this spiking the football, other than to deny that it happened, to the best of my knowledge.
My brother in law was a recently retired NJ cop in 2001. On that day, 9-11 he was reactivated because most of the northern NJ cops were sent to NYC to assist.
His assignment was to help quel the rioting in Paterson. Yes, they were dancing in the streets. Yes, they were obstructing traffic. He was there. He saw it, and he told me about it when I saw him over the holidays that year.
I have not forgotten the look on his face when he told me about it. He called the celebrators “pieces of $h!t”. I asked him how he was able to refrain from cracking skulls. He answered, “I’m a professional.”
“Hey, I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down. And I watched in Jersey City, New Jersey, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down.”
He is quite amazing but is he that incredible to be in two places at the same time. And no he could not run to NJ on that day. Air flights cancelled for the day (at least) and he could not get a car through the city no matter how important he is. So no I believe one of these is an exaggeration.

There’s a very simple, straight-forward standard that can be applied here: You’re either for us, or you’re against.

Even if they weren’t dancing in the streets (which I believe they were); in the absence of condemnation of the acts commited by their Muslim “brothers,” they are to be considered enemies of the US.
He didn’t say that. And if it was on TV then certainly it is in the archives. If the networks taped it then they should be showing it. Obviously he probably saw those jerks in Iran cheering and thought for some weird reason it was New Jersey.
I cannot help but wonder if there would be the same firestorm if Mr Trump were to have said that he saw ‘some’ Muslim celebrations? For some of these critics, it is a MUST that there were NO CELEBRATIONS because that denies the multiculturalism meme that they hold dear.

I saw the video clips on TV from both our Country and numerous huge demonstrations abroad. I watched 2 networks virtually nonstop on 9/11 from morning to late at night Hawaiian Standard Time. I have a vivid recollection and the celebrations on our land upset me dearly. I can not attest to their being “thousands” in any one location.
Funny thing...everybody is waiting for Trump to have a gaff moment where he does himself in. Both the GOPe and the MSM are scared by his message. I’m not sure about NJ, but one thing is for sure there WAS celebrating by our enemies when the Towers fell. Our enemies are at the gates, strike that in the gates.

This what the Dilbert guy was referring to.He has the press all talking about 9/11..they can’t let it go. As a result, it is conjuring up memories of what happened, who is responsible and reliving it. The press keeps defending people who we all know were sympathetic to 9/11.
He is brilliant.
It reminded me of a long forgotten (or suppressed) occasion when directly after 9/11, I took a cab to a train station within NJ. The driver was a middle-easterner who told me it had been a good thing. He was so creepy and threatening that when I got out of the cab, I thought to call his taxi service to warn them. Then, I thought: he knows where I live. So, in the end, I did nothing. I don’t think Homeland Security was even up and running. Of course, people celebrated on 9/11.
