Pope Francis: 'Christians and Muslims are brothers and sisters' [1 Cor 5]

Pope Francis has told worshippers in a mosque in the Central African Republic that "Christians and Muslims are brothers and sisters". He was speaking to Muslims who had sought shelter in the capital Bangui after nearly three years of violence between Christians and Muslims. The mosque visit was seen as perhaps the most difficult part of his Africa tour, a BBC correspondent says. Pope Francis then held the final Mass of his Africa trip in Bangui. He was speaking in Latin, which was then translated into the local Sango language. His message of reconciliation appeared to have an immediate impact, as a reporter from the AFP news agency spotted a group of Muslim rebels turn up at the Mass wearing t-shirts with the Pope's image on them.

The Pope has now left the CAR at the end of his six-day visit to the continent. More than 100,000 Muslims fled the capital as a result of the fighting but 15,000 are left in an area called PK5, according to the campaign group Human Rights Watch. Imam Tidiani Moussa Naibi thanked the Pope for his visit and said it was "a symbol which we all understand", the AP news agency reports. There was tight security for the visit to the Koudoukou mosque and armed UN peacekeepers were stationed on its minarets watching the crowds who had come to greet the pontiff. On Sunday, the Pope called on fighting factions in the CAR to lay down their weapons. About half of CAR's population is Christian and 15% Muslim...

While we are to love our enemies, and pray for them to be saved by the loving forgiving God of the Bible, we are not to call our enemies brothers. Islam is a political movement disguised as a religion. Islam literally means, "submission". According to the tenants of Islam, all Muslims and non-muslims must submit to sharia law and all diktats of the moon god Allah, and his ministers called Imams. The singular and unknowable Allah, is not the god of the Bible who is triune, personal, and loving. Allah is an entity that is dependent upon his creation for fellowship, love, communion, etc. The moon god demands the blood of all infidels, or a great jizyah tax. All disagreement with Allah is punishable by death.

Followers of this demonic idol are not brothers. Rather they are demonized idolators who are led by a false spirit. The false prophet of Islam, Mohammed, was inspired by Allah as he raped, killed, stole, destroyed, deceived, and pillaged his way through Arabia. Followers of Islam believe Mohammed to be the "perfect man", showing that Islam is a cognitive dissonant mental illness, masking as politics/religion. Muslims are not our brothers...

1 Corinthians 5:11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

Not to mention the way that was worded, “violence between Christians and Muslims” as if the Christians are the offense. I guess we’re to turn the other cheek, eh Francis?

Whenever I see a story about this Pope I expect him to come out for gay marriage and abortion. It appears he is working up to it or he is so often misquoted I don’t know what to think of him.

When they learn the Gospel and believe it, confess their belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and repent their sins and be baptized...only then will they be my brothers.

They are my enemy, I'm commanded to love my enemy and pray for them, and I do every day. I pray that they find Christ.

So we have a Marxist mentally impaired Pres__ent, a one-lung Marxist climate change fighting Pope ,, and the party of Marxist controlled Dems running a field of full-blown Marxists for the 2016 elections.

Some Transformation indeed.

and we should worry about our Muslim brother and his religion and the following of the faiths we each proclaim.. and ignore... Reality.

Ok.

Pope Francis: 'Christians and Muslims are brothers and sisters'

Was there a team of security personnel around when he said this? If so, then he's a hypocrite at best. At worst:

Isaiah 5:20 "Woe unto them that call evil good..."

And the blood of the naive, who believe such lies, is on his hands.

No, we are not, absolutely not. One group, mine, follows the One Who sacrificed Himself to save humanity. The other team reveres a child-raping mass murderer. Any questions?

Either the deity of Islam is or is not the deity of the Bible. The book that followers of Islam’s deity venerate as “holy” contradicts substantial portions of the Bible. For a Christian to accept that Muslims in essence shared the same faith, and therefore the deities are one and the same requires the Christian to repudiate the Bible. Yet Jesus validated the Scriptures.

Any person who holds this position is calling Jesus unfaithful and untrue. It is contradictory to the very basis of faith in His sacrifice and the basis for salvation.

If anyone is in doubt, let him read the Gospels in full.

But He (Jesus) answered and said to the one who told Him, Who is My mother and who are My brothers? And He stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said, Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.Matt 12:48-50
