CHICAGO (CBS) - Mayor Rahm Emanuel on Wednesday said he has no plans to resign amid pressure stemming from the death of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald, and said he thinks it would be “misguided” to open a federal civil rights investigation of the Chicago Police Department, with federal prosecutors already looking into the shooting.
Remember the weeks and months of squeaking by the MSM over Gov. Christy allegedly shutting a lane down on a bridge for political reasons (later proven to be false). Wouldn’t covering up a brutal police killing during an election by the mayor perhaps, just perhaps, be a bit more of an actual crime?
I suspect this is a VJ vs Hillary battle.
