Just foreigners denouncing Americans as gun-crazy and that dying disarmed & helpless has a certain morally superior dignity.
This is actually an extremely powerful indictment. Here’s a man who, for reasons obscure to me, but clear to him, has steadfastly worked to build bridges with terrorists putting himself in terrible danger, and even HE has concluded ISIS is evil and beyond reason or negotiation.
Which leaves people like me shaking our heads that he ever tried, but my love of my fellow man falls short of his. His conclusion carries a weight that mine wouldn’t because he’s changed his mind against his beliefs.
