Grim details emerged Thursday about the massacre at a California holiday party that left 14 people dead and 21 others hurt, but investigators are still trying to answer the key question: Why?

Authorities said they are still trying to determine why Farook and his wife attacked the Inland Regional Center.
"We do not know the motive. ... It would be irresponsible of me and be way too early to speculate on motive," said David Bowdich, assistant director in charge of the FBI in Los Angeles. ...
But authorities told NBC News on Thursday that Farook appeared to have been radicalized. They said he had been in touch with people in the Los Angeles area who have expressed jihadi-oriented views.
Intelligence sources told NBC News that Farook appeared to have been in some form of communication with people overseas who are persons of interest to U.S. authorities.

The crack journalists at NBC News deserve the Pulitzer Prize for investigative reporting for figuring out ... all by themselves ... that the nice Muzzies causing the San Bernardino Massacre were radicalized!
NBC - keen observers of the obvious.
I’m thinking the wife might be a key. She was a mail order terrorist. He might’ve bought in to a very bad deal. Of course, it might also be the worst case of post partum depression ever recorded.
The Muzzie huzzie was from Chicago.
Word is they know a thing or two about guns there, despite all those tough and effective laws to the contrary.
Sounds like, more and more, the messianic Jew was the target. Guy was probably a FReeper.
I think I read that he wanted a bride who would wear a hijab. Since he met her via the web, hat may be a code word for a jihadist.
why it would be downright IRRESPONSIBLE and DANGEROUS for the FBI or anyone to call this what it obviously was without, weeks, perhaps months, perhaps decades!!! of analysis.
And that is how a country is lost.
Yep, NBC gets the captain obvious award of the year.
The event did occur during a 15 minute break....cuz one guy said he used the break to go to the john.
Now, if it was a party, why are they having breaks. I don't think it was a Christmas Party at all. Sounds more like a seminar.
Working lunch.
Appears to have been radicalized? I suppose the alternative hypothesis is that this was just ordinary, non-radical Muslim behavior. Is the what NBC is trying to say?
Radicalized my ass.
Killing, raping, beheading and the like are “Normalized” behavior for a Muslim.
And yet Comcast’s front page “news” (nothing but narrative) is about denying the jihad connection by using his shifty looking brother’s interview that the shooter was a “bad” person not a jihadist. We need media/news reform
“Now, if it was a party, why are they having breaks. I don’t think it was a Christmas Party at all. Sounds more like a seminar.”
It was a workday meeting that was supposed to end with the “holiday” party. At the time of the shooting the meeting participants were taking a break. The party was later in the afternoon. The focus by the press on the “party” is to confuse the public.
Seems to me that all radicals are ‘radicalized’ unless they’re born that way.
The female served to amplify and animate what evil already took root in his heart.
Radical Muslim
Radical Christian
They “were radicalized.” Passive voice. The receivers of an action. If they were radicalized, someone had to do the radicalizing, and they were nothing more than victims.
The “radicalization” meme presents a de facto defense, an escape from accountability. There’s no such thing. The Devil didn’t make them do it. Allah didn’t make them do it (but I repeat myself). They CHOSE — willfully and mindfully — to murder their fellow human beings, for no better reason than they were not them.
