But with no official results released and the ruling socialist party not commenting, their claims could not be confirmed.

"The results are as we expected. Venezuela won," former presidential candidate Henrique Capriles said on Twitter. "With great humility, serenity and maturity we accept what the people decided." ...

It’s not who voted, it’s who COUNTS the votes.

Let's see how long before NPR, Obama, and the unfortunately cancer-free Jimmy Carter condemn the vote. Thanks Olog-hai.

We will know the opposition won if our media never speaks of Venezuela again.

By the way, Le Pen and the National Front are kicking butt in France. Europe is going to do an about face on immigration soon.

Yes, it was Uncle Joe...

“It is enough that the people know there was an election. The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.”

“I do not wish death upon him.”

Well, he will die.

When I was a kid I once asked my dad if he thought some famous person who was in the news for being ill would die. He said: I think you mean to ask do I think he will die soon.

” despise Jimmy Carter. I do not wish death upon him.”

Why? Were you in favor of NOT KILLING Osama Bin Laden? People like Carter have had as big a hand in the destruction of our country as did Bin Laden! The day Jimmah dies will be a red-letter day for me, and there are a few more that I’d open a good bottle of wine for when I read they’re gone!
