In the United States, the period between election day and inauguration day is, in my opinion, at least a few weeks too long. Obama has PLENTY of time to inflict more damage in a spiteful fit of rage.
Which he shall do and I believe that he’s going to start doing all of that now.
He can do exactly nothing if people refuse to comply. It is on US whether or not we allow him to rule.
It used to be longer. Until changed to January 20 starting in 1937, it was on March 4th, so four whole months from election day to inauguration.
