Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump made the shortlist for TIME magazine's 2015 Person of the Year for his "populist rhetoric" in the 2016 presidential election that has "stirred debate about the party's future."

The magazine released its shortlist Monday morning with Trump making the cut among other finalists including Black Lives Matter activists, Russian president Vladimir Putin and Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

Exactly. For all their liberal pieties, Time needs to make money and putting Trump on the cover will make money for them.

Honestly it’s a no-brainer is Time uses the real meaning of this “recognition”.

But don’t be shocked if its some “transgendered” 9 year old.

From the short list “Person Of The Year” has to be either Trump or Putin.

Interesting. Didn’t Obama make Man of the Year the year before he was elected?

.
This should dispel the looney notion that the MSM somehow is opposed to Trump.

They have supported him with massive undeserved air time, and now they want his mug on the cover of Time.

That is some potent kool-aid running in the nation’s water supply.

“We have somebody from TIME magazine here,” Trump said at an Alabama rally. “You know I was on the cover recently. Now they’re here again, so I assume they’re considering me for man of the year. I say there’s no way they give it to me. They can’t. Because, mentally, they can’t. They just can’t. They can’t do it. Even if I deserve it, they can’t do it.”

If they really want to shut down the coming conservative election victory, they’ll choose Trump!

Knowing Time’s political leaning, it will not be Trump. .......................Although they had FDR 3 times, IKE and Reagan were both on the cover twice. They also had Hitler, Stalin and the Ayatollah. Its more about who made the biggest impact on the News. Forget Trump, he is just a candidate running at the moment. Maybe in 2017 there will be reason to consider him. Ahhhh, but if Bernie wins, he’ll make it next year.

“Massive undeserved air time”.

Says e.s.

.

LOL.

.

TDS got you??

You sound sad and of very sour grapes.

Who’s your candidate? How is he polling, nationally?

How many attend his ‘rallies’ in huge venues...er, general stores?

You need to ‘have a conversation’ with yourself and realize that maybe the majority just isn’t that in to your candidate.

Hmmm....maybe you need to tell that to the boss, e-s...he agrees that Trump’s policies are about as conservative as you can get.

As Doughty One has pointed out, he’s not only driving the presidential campaign, he’s already leading the nation, as Congress is rushing to do things before Trump can get credit for them. He provoked Obama to say that Americans don’t want to win. And the big issues wouldn’t even be issues right now if he hadn’t boldly brought them forward. A few candidates are unembarrassed about blatantly stealing his points and even his lines.

The election will just be a formal recognition, unless the GOPe and the media together succeed in fooling and further misinforming the great mass of the slightly informed.
