The thing is, we need to know what the enemy is doing. Usually the poster doesn’t agree with these posts, although it’s true that some Freepers jump on board. But I don’t think they are making a case.
It gets ugly every election season, but it’s really ugly this time around.
It may just be the times and current events making some of us come unglued.

Have never torn down Ted. Only said I didn’t think he’d be the nominee. I’ve always said he’s my #2, if nominated I’d give to him, work for him, and hope to see him elected. But if he’s beaten, I sure hope he’s either Trump’s veep or the AG/USSC justice.

I think this Presidential Primary season on FR has been the most mild in many years. Depending on who gets elected as the GOP candidate, it could get Barry Bad as FR could push the “no vote” option.
We are dealing with two candidates (Trump and Cruz) for the most part that wil get FReeper support. Both have blemishes, one more than the other, obviously.
But I haven’t seen the number of FReepers handing in their membership cards over vitriol as is normal for a primary season.

Trump promised me a wall, a strong military and no more Muslim immigration. Good enough for me. If my wife waited for Mr. Perfect to get married she would be an old maid.
Free Republic should be a safe place for free speech.
If you don’t like what someone is saying (which I often don’t), ignore them.
Our society is infiltrated with leftists who are succeeding in shutting down free speech by shaming and accusing those with whom they disagree.
