Ole Miss is attracting attention for renaming its annual holiday celebration to make the event more inclusive for members of the university community.
"A Grand Ole Christmas," the university's annual campus tree-lighting ceremony, will now be known as "Hotty Toddy Holidays," according to Kay P Maye, who handles special events for the Student Activities Association

I assume that, when Ramadan rolls around in 2016, these colleges are going to ban any mention of it on Campus and force the Muslim Student Associations to hold Ramadan events off campus?
Are they also going to rename Ramadan and Hanukkah? Maybe Kwanzaa?
I don't participate in Ramadan because its to moslemy, I don't try to change it or call it "the holidays".

The first step was to destroy the heritage upon which the university was founded. Second is to remove Christianity. The third will be to found a Sharia Law study for the law school AKA Harvard. Ole’ Miss curriculum is about as difficult as the one I had as a Freshman in high school living in Texas.
Don’t go. Don’t attend.

I can only assume that the alumni who give them money don’t care, or they wouldn’t be pulling all this crap. Ole Miss has become a shame and a disgrace to its legacy and to Mississippi. Maybe it’s because of the feetsball that they’re doing it-I wish people could find it in themselves to make the huuuuge sacrifice to give up feetsball/s
Last night in my small town in Central Florida (red county) the police and fire departments drove through all the neighborhoods with Santa Claus. The speakers played Christmas carols. Santa Claus yelled “Merry Christmas, everyone!” I heard them coming, ran out and waved and thanked them. There were people on the sidewalks, old ones, young ones, all ones!
It was like a little oasis in the midst of the madness.
They’ve done it for years, maybe in your town too. Last night though was especially poignant somehow. I was wiping tears away while I walked home. I wasn’t the only one.
I think some of our tears were for people like the ones at Ole Miss...
