Officially, these guys are AWOL because they didn't want to return to Afghanistan.
Pardon me, but if you're looking to immigrate to the US, going AWOL from your post isn't a particularly good start.
Of course, they don’t ‘pose a threat’
Works for me. I believe anything that the Government says.
Check the local strip bars and glory hole hangouts...
They will find an Afghan community and blend in.
Why take so long to name them and why now?
“Pardon me, but if you’re looking to immigrate to the US, going AWOL from your post isn’t a particularly good start. “
They should pay a coyote, come across the border with a backpack full of drugs and get fraudulent ID like everybody else.
The same thing happened last year with three Afghans who were AWOL from a U.S. base and then were caught trying to seek asylum in Canada.
It took a day to find out their names?
None of them should be in this country.
I have ONE question:
“How many of the other 21 remaining in the group have been given a test which will show if they know anything about the 2 others, and are there any more of the 21 that are planning to join the other 2 ..??
Apparently, the people at the Georgia AFB are not concerned (publically); but this is such a HUGE RED FLAG .. I’m disgusted that nobody seems to be paying attention.
Missing: The two trainess - who were part of a group of 23 from Afghanistan who have been at the base in Valdosta since February - have now been identified as Shirzad Rohullah (left) and Mirwais Kohistani (right)
Great, another couple of loose cannons out and about.

Why not? The Dept. State are letting a lot worse into the Country.
Just a long weekend and forgot to check back in to base...right?
No pilot wings for these guys...
In Georgia, they'll be able to pass themselves off as Mexicans and get work in one of the chiggin plants...
Trojan Horse that we trained?
Top notch vetting :*(
