Maybe some relative of those he killed found him and is now ...

Yea, but so far I haven’t read of any evidence he has been spotted in another state.

This isn't a case like Marc Rich or some other fabulously wealthy Wall Street type. Most countries where an American fugitive might flee wouldn't want to deal with a dirtbag family like this. If these people end up in a country with no extradition treaty with the U.S., they'll probably get sent back on an empty trash barge anyway.

It's worth noting that the "no extradition treaty" angle is probably meaningless. If the U.S. government wants to get you back here, you're going to be sent back.

Let's hope that young Ethan resists arrest and is dealt with accordingly.

Naw, he needs to spend some intimate cell time with his new boyfriend Bubba.

1. If they left home with their passports (which I understand is the case), it may automatically become a Federal matter.

2. I'm sure there is plenty of evidence in this case that hasn't been made public (credit card or ATM transactions, etc.).

Daddy seems to be a real “Do you know who I am?” POS who owns some company. He looks like real goon. Mommy seems to like sleeping in the same room as Junior. They’re a sick bunch.

The teen killed four people while driving drunk, but his defense team argued he couldn't be held responsible due to a lifetime of being coddled.

I saw the mother speaking on some video footage - she doesn’t seem bright enough to successfully flee the country. Even if they did get out, they’ll misstep in a short time.

Let’s hope he winds up in a Peruvian prison like another punk from news a few years back.

Not talking about this case: I like how family members, of obvious means, will only shell out a thousand or so, to get information on a family members murderer.

Guaranteed he’s living it up on some sunny beach in a country that won’t extradite.

I think this is great news. If he comes back or is extradited he goes strait to prison.

If he stays out of the country and out sight so much the better.

Here is how it works south of our border. If you are wanted in the US and have money you are welcome to stay and they will help you hide as long as you PAY. And I mean PAY. They will figure out how much money the family has and work out a payment schedule. In a few years the family will be broke and he will be quickly extradited.

AND in case you are reading this kid, don't even think of escaping the people now hiding you. They are ever watchful and any attempt at escape or failure to pay will result in you having a close encounter with a cattle prod followed by a bullet in your head.

Enjoy your freedom kid while it last.

If the U.S. government wants to get you back here, you’re going to be sent back.

Unless your name is Roman Polanski.

Pfft. You use business accounts to transfer the money around the globe, or even a bunch of wire transfers to Mexico using the name "Jose Gonzalez," or you go to New York, buy diamonds wholesale and sell them in Rotterdam or Tel Aviv.

Etc., etc.

A little forethought and you can easily move hundred of thousands or millions of dollars over a period of several months.

I don’t think the U.S. government pursued that case with any sense of urgency at all.

In addition to the four he killed while drunk, one kid in the pickup with him is now paralyzed for life. Also he was on probation thanks to the judge and he was NOT to drink and party. The whole thing here erupted when someone sent a photo of a party where Ethan was participating.

So an arrest was issued and suddenly they couldn’t find him or his Mother.

Great plans.....unless, of course, you want to avoid going to jail.
