Then stop! Trump is the only one trying to protect you. Popping off with idiotic and unworkable plans is not protecting us. It's saying whatever comes into his head that sounds tough, and then all his loyal minions cheer him on.
Radical Islamic terrorism is a real threat to this country, and one which deserves realistic solutions. Those solutions lie with law enforcement, intelligence gathering, and solid investigative work. Issuing a ban on all Muslims, without any way of enforcing it, is not a realistic solution.

Maybe Muslims need to be scared of something or someone. Maybe they see him not so much as a racist but more like a Crusader like Richard Lionheart (used for centuries as a sort of Bogie Man in the Arab world). Maybe All Islamic people need to fear a patriot.

Pretty clear that he meant to exclude from reentry any Muslims who leave this country to go get training and radicalization. The few exceptions for diplomats, US serviceman serving oveseas, etc, makes sense. The rest are too big a risk to let back.
