Russia urged Lebanon and Israel to exercise patience in connection with the “worsening†of the situation on the border between the two countries, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Monday, according to TASS. “Over the past few days we have been witnessing an escalation of tension on the border between Israel and Lebanon,†the ministry said, adding, “According to media reports, several rockets were fired from the Lebanese territory on December 20, to which the Israeli army retaliated with artillery fire. No deaths or injuries have been reported.â€
It’s always nice to be cautioned about patience and tempered reactions by the Putin government, and so , Israel’s Ambassador to Russia Zvi Heifetz responded on Tuesday that Israel understands Russia’s interests in the current geopolitical situation and supports its efforts against international terrorism. “As concerns the geopolitical situation, naturally, we understand Russia’s interests,†Heifetz said at a meeting with Konstantin Kosachev, chairman of the international committee of Russia’s Federation Council’s upper parliament house. “We support efforts against world terrorism. We have been telling this for more than a century.â€

So now having made it pro forma protest in the weakest language possible, Russia will look the other way while Israel takes what ever action it needs to.

I’m truly convinced Isaiah 17:1 will happen within my lifetime.
I’m also convinced that Ezekiel 38/39 will happen as well shortly thereafter. Now that Russia is right on Israel’s border, all bets are off.
The problem is that Russia is allied with Hezbollah through its Iranian ally. With the S400 or Buk systems in place, Russia could tell Hezbollah were any IAF were bound and track all cross boarder Israeli Army movements on the ground. What happens here likely depends on what agreements the two militaries have reached.
GOD told GOG and MAGOG (the two most deadly spiritual forces): “I’m going to put a hook in your jaw and draw you down”.

Odd how the first shots are always fired from muslim territory, not the other way around. Russia should control its clients better.

This is just the beginning. Now that Russia is directly involved in Syria, look for them to start making excuses to involve themselves more directly in Israel, probably under the excuse of a “peacekeeping” mission.

Israel is the one who destroys Damascus they also gain more land in Syria according to the Shepherd’s prophecy.

Their inventory of rockets is growing, that's not secret. And they're Russian/Assad allies. Wonder what would alarm Russia. The possibility of a preemptive Israeli strike? Or the risk of Hizbollah using their chemical weapons, making an Israeli strike a certainty.
Great article...by Russia not condemning the unprovoked terror attack from Hezbollah, they are showing where their sympathies lie. The Psalm 83 coalition knows this as well...
