After the nomination, most Freepers will unite around a common cause and candidate.
However, we will never reconcile with the GOPe. They are dead to us forever.

There’s something America is learning to love about Donald. Like someone said he ain’t a Reagan. Heavens no. He looks more like some kind of crude power that is nonetheless more and more credibly poised to blast by a malaise that makes Carter’s look like Shangri-la. A terrible (in the original sense of striking with frightening awe) gift of God.
This keep up, I am going to have to vote for Trump just to help the Media, the GOPe and Democrat-Socialists to all contract Exploding-Head Syndrome.

There are a few hard-core Cruz supporters here that have been calling Trump supporters these names that I am referring too.

I had to excerpt more than I wanted, since it is a NY post article, but this is the last paragraph from it:

The beauty is that Trump has ripped the mask off the system for everyone to see. I’ve talked to a lot of people, and they are NOT holding their noses again for a GOP moderate.

If Romney could end up accepted as a great GOP hope at the end, surely it will not be a problem for Trump.

I think we CAN get into a hog-wallow of “Tastes great! Less filling!” over a set of people all of whom would be better than a mediocre soul like Jeb.

Aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh, but the GOPEers are far too much like the dear old WHIGS to wake up.
But he misses the point.
Trump appeals mostly to *moderates*.
He has sizable conservative support, and will have more after the primary.
Mainly, though, he and his positions appeal to moderates.
To the media, a ‘moderate’ is someone who thinks what they tell them to think... and this is driving the media crazy.
