Gun sales have been going up almost every year for the past decade.
More firearm-related background checks have been conducted this year than any other year on record and it could mean that December will see the most guns ever sold.
So far this year, excluding December, 19.7 million background checks have been initiated. That is over 775,000 more than any other year, including what Fortune reported to be a record-breaking Black Friday. Every month since May has seen a record number of checks, and December will likely be no different.

I believe that the gun ownership market is pretty much saturated.
Ammo purchases with be the big market this year and where the government will try to make it painful, price-wise.

At a recent gun show I spoke with a seller who sold over 500 lowers in just 3 weeks. And he had another order coming in and those were almost all accounted for in terms of orders.
And that is just one seller at one gun show.

I am hearing of a lot of first time buyers especially after San Bernadino. Women, older folks, even libs.

The only good Obama has done in his malicious, racist, communist life has been spreading gun ownership in America. I just hope there are enough guns and ammo in private hands to protect freedom in this final terrible year under that traitor/terrorist and during the hoped for recovery from these evil times.

You need to remember that these numbers don’t count concealed carry license holders- they bypass the checks.
