To Be, or Not to Be Offended

Being offensive is a breech of etiquette, not of morality. Being offensive is belching loudly, swearing like a stevedore, farting in church. It's a failure of proper manners and decorum; it has nothing to do with political opinions, religious faith, or human morals.

Hmmmm. Crass behavior is now the norm for a lot of the miscreants roaming the streets out there. Of course, if you are even slightly conservative, you are not allowed to be offended because you/we are usually the cause of offensiveness. Or something. Me, I'm pretty much done with ungrateful snots who wouldn't know hard times if it smacked them in the face. Decorum? What's that.

The left has raised “Feigned Outrage” to an art form.

They’re not outraged in the least; but they act the part to stir up the idiot masses.

I don’t think this practice works as well lately as it used to.

Maybe, just maybe, the idiot masses are waking up.

First, it was Political Correctness from the Left. Cultural Marxism.

Then as it became entrenched into the public dialogue, the Left had to come up with a way of enforcing their PC drivel against people who wouldn't fall for their ideological way of speaking.

So now they have taught everyone in their camp to vocalize being offended or being "microaggressed" or being a "victim" or feeling "unsafe" as ways of shaming the opposition (that would be normal conservative people), as being "insensitive" to the feelings of those on the Left and not falling into line with their mandatory PC speech.

They have already pushed this crap into the area of hate speech and hate actions enforced by the government and the courts, ie. the gays forcing religious bakers to bake their wedding cakes under threat of huge fines imposed for violating the wishes of the Left.

The natural progression from this last stage is to criminalize un-politically correct speech and actions and impose jail time for those who don't agree. Don't think the Left hasn't thought of this because I have seen several news reports in the last year where such penalties have been suggested by individual liberal nut jobs. Currently, their are 40-some democRAT congress men backing a bill in the House that would make it a crime to speak out against Muslims. WTF?

The Left has suggested criminalizing "deniers" of climate change more than a few times. Some extremists even going so far as to suggest the death penalty for these "deniers" for not agreeing with the politically correct "science" of climate change.

All of this leads me to believe that one of the reasons for the huge popularity of the brash Donald Trump on the campaign trail is because he is standing political correctness and all of the associated bulls*t, on its head and attracting people who are sick and tired of it themselves. Even if he doesn't win, maybe he has done enough to turn around this PC crap the Left has imposed on society and given us our right to free speech back.

It is absolutely imperative to end the Democrat winning streak in presidential elections.

It HAS GOT to be done this year, or PC will become some sort of law-of-the-land, whether we like it or not.

The left never gives up.

Never

I agree 100%.

Cultural Marxism will become ensconced into written law if the Republicans in Congress don't start asserting their power for the protection of the people instead of for their own personal gain.
