I think at this point you have to figure he does not have plans to make Ted VP.
Obama has always maintained he was born in the United States which makes his eligibility question somewhat different than Cruz's.
Trump thought Cruz should go to Federal court and get a ruling on his eligibility, which might be a good idea.

No actually I seriously doubt that will happen. Rush gave Trump the greenlight on his show yesterday. Basically he was laughing at the Libtards salivating that the radio talk shows will now turn agains’t Trump. Not gonna happen. Rush says if Teddy and Don want to go at each other fine by him.
