The Donald Trump campaign has distributed so many tickets for a Thursday evening rally in Burlington, Vermont that police in the area are expressing concerns that the venue is too small and could present a safety hazard.
According to the Burlington Free Press, while the Trump campaign has distributed 20,000 tickets for the event, the venue the Flynn Center can seat just 1,400.
If Phish was holding a free concert at the Flynn and gave away 20,000 free tickets, we would cancel the event out of public safety concerns, Burlington Police Chief Brandon del Pozo told the paper. We are committed to accommodating the campaign because political speech is the very essence of the First Amendment.
The Flynn Centers executive director John Killacky said the event would be open seating and offered on a first come first-serve basis.
We ve been working with the Secret Service very carefully along with the Burlington Police Department, Killacky told the paper.

Those commies up in Burlington must be fried that The Donald is coming there. They grabbed up all the tickets to make sure his supporters didn’t get them.
Trump should hold a rally tonight on the campus of George Mason U. as Obama is inside holding his CNN gun control townhall.

There is your answer. Despite the rodent romancing plans of Sanders’ lil’ Komsomol kids, the Trump rally will overflow into the streets. Great photo op with Sanders’ HQ being submerged.
I think Trump knew there were only 1400 seats when he booked it.
I am wondering if this is the same town in Vermont where trump haters sucked up a bunch of tickets and weren’t going to give Trump an empty venue, so Trump increased tickets? Not sure.
So it is to be expected that the only difference in one speech and another is not the speaker but the audience.

Wait until the summer months, after Trump gets the nomination. Trump should hold a rally at NY Giants/Jets stadium. I’m sure he would have no problem filling the seats.
