Saw that.

Here’s an excellent discussion of what a ‘natural born citizen’ is by a FR member:

Leftists are likely covering for Obama. Trump, if elected, will release the truth around Obama’s birth. They want the fact he was born out of the U.S. to not matter.

Why else are they helping Cruz? They hate the guy.

Levin needs to chill out. It’s a campaign and if we don’t consider these issues, the Clinton evil machine certainly will.

Salon: Ted Cruz is worse: The only thing scarier than Trump winning the nomination is him losing it - Stop freaking out about Trump winning the nomination because compared to Cruz, his agenda looks downright moderate......

"......I personally dislike Trump, with his obnoxious racism and his rallies that feel like anti-desegregation meetings from the '60s and his misogyny and his stupid hair, as well. But, personal style aside, the grim fact of the matter is that Trump is no worse than the wretched hive of scum and villainy that makes up the entire Republican field at this point. Every last one of those mothers is a moral monster who has no business running the country and if any of them win, this country will be so much the sorrier for it.

Let's say that Trump does flame out, Howard Dean-style, in the month of February. If that does happen, odds are that Ted Cruz, who has been lurking around in the background like Gollum, will step up and take the nomination. It's not just that Cruz is the favorite "second choice" option for Republican voters, but he's a strong favorite for Trump supporters, and will vacuum them up in case of a Trump collapse.

If this happens, it will be much worse than if Trump just wins this thing. Cruz has the word "senator" in front of his name and his kids are cute and he's won an election, so he gets treated as if he's a less-awful version of Trump. But he is actually way, way worse, if you look past surface issues like squawkiness in the press. Compared to Cruz, Trump's agenda looks downright moderate."..............

It is distracting for Cruz. Trump said he wouldn’t bring it up again unless it got down to the two of them. I know he was asked the question but Trump brought it up a year ago, several times since and said he had talked to people and there was no problem last August.
Levin gets on nerves calling people stupid. I don’t like that about Trump either. If you don’t have respect and common decency you should learn how to pretend well.

Trump, if elected, will release the truth around Obama's birth.

Four years ago Trump claimed he had sent a team to Hawaii to investigate Obama's birth certificate and that they were "astounded" at what they found. Well if they found anything then, much less anything "astounding" then why has he been sitting on it for four years? Why is he waiting to release it?

Leftists are likely covering for Obama. Trump, if elected, will release the truth around Obama's birth. They want the fact he was born out of the U.S. to not matter.

Which is why when they cite 8 USC Code 1401(g), they continue to cite the wrong version ( even Levin cites the wrong version ). The part that they cite:

a person born outside the geographical limits of the United States and its outlying possessions of parents one of whom is an alien, and the other a citizen of the United States who, prior to the birth of such person, was physically present in the United States or its outlying possessions for a period or periods totaling not less than five years, at least two of which were after attaining the age of fourteen years:

would include Obama. Under this, if he was born outside the US, he inherited citizenship. They say since he inherited citizenship at birth, he is a natural born citizen. However, that part only applies to those born after November 14, 1986. The part that applies to Obama and also Cruz is this :

... a period of ten years, five after the age of fourteen, is required for physical presence in the United States or one of its outlying possessions to transmit U.S. citizenship to the child.)

Under this , which is the law that applied at the time, he didn't inherit citizenship because his mother was only 18. The only way to get citizenship was to become naturalized. This is the real reason for the hiding of the BC. Contrary to what the press reports, they know the correct version of the statute. If they believed the current version was the one that applied, they would have no problem admitting he was born in Kenya.

Trump and Cruz could use this to find out whether the US has already had a foreign-born and definitely INELIGIBLE candidate inaugurated as POTUS, since his only US citizenship is through naturalization (if Obama naturalized).

When Cruz gets IA primary votes, Trump should sue over Cruz’ ineligibility. Cruz should use as part of his defense the precedent of Obama being born outside the US (as evidenced by the Hawaii registrar refusing to verify for AZ SOS Ken Bennett the birth facts claimed on his non-valid HI BC). The issue would be relevant if the lawsuit claims that nobody born outside the US is eligible, regardless of whether they were a US citizen at birth, and Cruz making this assertion would be a reasonable legal move because if the DeVattel standards are used by SCOTUS it would be about the only defense he could use.

If Cruz and Trump could get discovery there is a LOT they could bring into public knowledge. A LOT.And then when one or the other of them becomes POTUS they will have what they need to begin cleaning out the cockroaches and traitors within the system and the current regime...

The issue should not be feared. It should be welcomed as an avenue to finally get the truth and execute justice. Good reason for BOTH guys to work together. The only thing that would be dangerous would be if people like Levin once again throw evidentiary standards out the window and hysterically attack those who resist the threatened media’s narratives (given to them by Obama’s handlers).

You have to understand NBC definition must be adjusted to fit the candidate we want. If you don't do that then we don't care because Obama got away with it then so can we. Understand?
