Sheehan held a vigil outside President George W. Bushs ranch, demanding to meet with him so she could denounce the war to his face Goldberg omits that Cindy Sheehan met with President Bush at Ft. Lewis in Washington. I have resurrected an old tag line on what she said after the meeting.
It was only after that meeting that she decided she needed to meet with him again.
I had the opportunity to meet Cindy Sheehan in Benicia, Ca (near her hometown). I saw her from a distance of about 20 feet, after sizing up the people she was with, I wanted nothing to do with her and declined to be introduced.
