The deal with the Clinton devil is over

Live by Bubba, die by Bubba.

Something has shifted when it comes to the treatment and perception of the Clintons, and it threatens their joint political ambitions like nothing before it.

For nearly a quarter of a century, the Clintons have been politically bulletproof. No charge, regardless of how salacious, illegal and true, seemed to stick. When they detected incoming fire, they activated their tried-and-true protocol: deny, stonewall, deflect and claim that the nation's business was too important - they were too important - to respond: "I need to get back to work for the American people." Exit left. Get protection from the leftist mainstream media.

They were untouchable, having created a cult of personality rivaled (and surpassed) only by President Obama.

Until now.

And surprisingly, the issue that is currently unraveling their Wizard of Oz illusion isn't the allegations of massive fraud at the Clinton Foundation or her mishandling of classified material on her private email server. (More on both fronts to come, courtesy of the FBI).

No, the issue posing the greatest risk right now to a Clinton Restoration is the public's voiding of the deal it made with the Clinton Devil in 1992.

The conventional wisdom has long been that Mr. Clinton's lewd, abusive past is itself a thing of the past. His serial extramarital affairs, including the one with the barely legal intern, Monica Lewinsky, his textbook sexual harassment of subordinates like Paula Jones, his alleged assault of Kathleen Willey and the rape alleged by Juanita Broaddrick, were considered old news, episodes litigated in the court of public opinion and dismissed for three reasons: 1) His piggery was already widely known; 2) a strong economy absolved many of his sins; and 3) the public took cues from his wife. "Hey, if she's OK with his piggery,

The Clintons and the spinners lost their control because of social media. The lies are exposed. The victims come together and tell their stories. Kathleen Willey and Juanita Broaddrick are Tweeting. The light is now shining on the cockroaches, Bill and Hillary.

Something people forget- Bill and Hillary are nearly 70. When they burst on the Presidential scene in 1992, they were in their mid-40's while George H.W. Bush was nearing 70. They pushed the idea that they were the "new" generation while the GOP was a bunch of old fogies.

Fast forward to 2016. Now the Clintons are a bunch of old goats, while Ted Cruz is the young, fresh voice for America's future.

In the future, I'd show up with Depends diapers for Bill and Hillary...just in case they have an "accident".

Deal with the devil, pfffft...... Wake up, Clintons were bullet proof simply because the corrupt MSM acted as their Praetoran guard, plain and simple. It’s the exact same reason Obama has been able to break law after law and get away with it, because the corrupt MSM has defended him and covered for his screw ups.

Now the Clintons just aren’t as useful as before. Eventually once Obama has no more political power there will suddenly be an uptick in criticism from the MSM as he no longer holds political value anymore.

The list of stand by Clinton excuses gets longer with each new crime.

1. Its just another thing to throw against the wall to see if it sticks.

2. I dont recall.

3. We didnt do anything wrong

4. We didnt know we were doing anything wrong

5. You cant prove we knew we were doing anything wrong.

6. Theres no evidence of any wrongdoing.

7. Thats old news. It’s all been gone over in the last few weeks/ months/ years.

8. I would never do that.

I think the biggest change in politics is social media and how most politicians over the age of 35 don’t have a understanding of how much info real and not real is disseminating out to the public. they don’t understand how a comment they make in private with the expectation that it will only impact the three or four people who hear it becomes public. they don’t understand social media is gossip on steroids and if you live in the public eye, the good, the bad and the ugly will come out.

When a liar lies, how do you know the truth? Slick told some of his victims he was sterile (so as not to be worried about getting knocked up) due to childhood mumps. He says Chelsea was “sired” by Webb Hubbell. And Hill was the prime leader of the Bimbo Eruption Squad but was chronically surprised of all the reports of philandering at Kennedy-esque proportion.

Perhaps the Clintons only grabbed the FBI files on potential politicians that might threaten their hegemony. Trump wasn’t on the radar then.

Social media and Trump are crushing what Hillary thought she was entitled to have.

They have nothing on Trump that we don’t already know.

Jeb Bush said Trump was a jackass for running. Jeb knows he cannot beat him.

Jeb and Hillary are of the same political cloth.

you are right and it is doing it to some extent to the republican party. I think it is confounding those that thought they could use there money to buy a president.

Mrs. Bill should go into downtown Little Rock for a rally. Everybody there nearly is for her. Webb Hubbell could introduce her. It would thrill the American people to see such excitement.

Always loved your screen name.

Cintoons play Fleetwood Mac and John Kerry played the Black Eye Peas.

Melloncamp prevented RR from playing Jack & Diane.

Liberalism is a lie.

I think Bill was 32 when he was elected Governor of Arkansas. I've been watching old videos of the Clintons.

The angst I have against them is personal, and I didn't know anything about them at the time. Christopher Reeve had that terrible accident, and I was praying fervently for him, also had a shrine near his home praying for him.

When I found out the Democrats supported abortion and saw Christopher Reeve in his wheelchair center stage at the DNC, I thought he would never be healed now. And I was right, but probably more because God doesn't heal that kind of spinal cord injury, at least in our times, if ever. Then at the end, he was an atheist, and they had been in favor of fetal stem cell research to find a cure.

Now watching the videos, if I didn't know what the Clintons were about, I think they look like a nice couple, he had good looks and charm; she was pretty when she started being a little more stylish, and her voice wasn't as shrill as it is now.

I just think they have some kind of love for each other, and it's sad that they had to have all those troubles they seem to have mostly brought upon themselves.

Obamaschmuck is 53. His “use by” date is probably 20 years in the future, unfortunately.
