Ted Cruz mocks FRENZIED rabid tweetstorm from the Trump!!
The Right Scoop ^ | Jan 16, 2016 | soopermexican

Posted on 01/16/2016 10:02:18 AM PST by Isara

El Trumpo is having a full blown freak out on Twitter against Ted Cruz:

Ted Cruz was born in Canada and was a Canadian citizen until 15 months ago. Lawsuits have just been filed with more to follow. I told you so

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 16, 2016

Ted Cruz said he "didn't know" that he was a Canadian Citizen. He also FORGOT to file his Goldman Sachs Million $ loan papers. Not believable

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 16, 2016

Was there another loan that Ted Cruz FORGOT to file. Goldman Sachs owns him, he will do anything they demand. Not much of a reformer!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 16, 2016

The Ted Cruz wiseguy apology to the people of New York is a disgrace. Remember, his wife's employer, and his lender, is located there!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 16, 2016

How is this any different from people pointing out two of his wives were immigrants? It’s only tangentially connected.

Oh no, just reported that Ted Cruz didn't report another loan, this one from Citi. Wow, no wonder banks do so well in the U.S. Senate.

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 16, 2016

Based on the fact that Ted Cruz was born in Canada and is therefore a "natural born Canadian," did he borrow unreported loans from C banks?

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 16, 2016

Ted Cruz purposely, and illegally, did not list on his personal disclosure form personally guaranteed loans from banks. They own him!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 16, 2016

Cruz batted away this accusation at the GOP debate, which he is roundly considered to have won.

Ted is the ultimate hypocrite. Says one thing for money, does another for votes. https://t.co/hxdfy0mjVw

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 16, 2016

Again, the Donald is just desperately grasping at straws here. Had Ted Cruz told one crowd that he was for gay marriage and another against, he might be hypocritical, but that’s not the case.

Here’s now CNN reports his response:

Cruz declined to comment on the Times report when asked by a CNN reporter during an appearance in Columbia, South Carolina on Friday. But speaking to reporters at a church not far from Charlotte on Saturday, Cruz, who once declined to attack Trump, shed any caution he may have had about laying into his top rival.

“I would note that Donald’s record does not match what he says as a candidate,” Cruz said, gamely tackling questions he routinely swatted away for seven months.

Cruz also aggressively ridiculed Trump’s obsession with the latest opinion surveys, saying that Trump’s attacks on Twitter come because he is “dismayed” about a recent NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll showing a competitive race.

“I imagine it pulled him out of bed this morning and send him tweeting and tweeting and tweeting,” he said. “I think in terms of a commander in chief, we ought to have someone who isn’t springing out of bed to tweet in a frantic response to the latest polls.”

Cruz referred repeatedly to an interview Trump did with NBC News’ Tim Russert 17 years ago, in which he defines his “New York values” as distinct from “Iowa values.” Cruz said those values — pro-abortion rights, including supporting partial birth abortion and pro-gay marriage — explained Trump’s world view. And he dredged up the former Democrat’s donation history to some of the state’s leading politicians, including Hillary Clinton.

“Given the fact that for much of his life, Donald was financially supporting those politicians — writing checks to Hillary Clinton, writing checks to Andrew Cuomo — it is a fair inference that he supports their policies,” Cruz said.

The Texas senator, then asked for some differences on national security between him and Trump, offered that was unaware of what Trump’s foreign policy is.

“To be honest, I don’t know what Donald’s position is,” Cruz said.

BOOM!!

Oddly, the full statement is a little different as the reporting above cut out a few sentences:

They’re getting fired up!!!

When Hillary collapses the Democrats can always vote for Trump. He is, after all, one of them. Trump can even switch parties. He has done it enough that he knows the process. Trump/Hillary, what a winning combination that would be! Bernie wouldnt run with Trump, sorry to say. Bernie may be a socialist loon but at least he is consistent about it.

You might not understand. Look up why it’s so important to disclose and obey FEC regulations election finance law. It’s to avoid outside influences bankrolling candidates. And it certainly looks here that this is a real possibility of what occurred.

I lived in PA for 17 years, was in New York a lot, the thing I found of the people there was:

They don't take crap from anybody, you cross them, they will bite your head off;

They mind their own business and expect you to do the same;

While walking to Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital, I passed people, would nod, they would nod back, I would smile, they would smile back, I would say ‘hello’ they would smile, nod and some would reply with the same...

In cafes, diners, restaurants they were polite, not overly friendly, but very good at what they did...

At the Hospital they were a caring type people, and even on the outside of the Hospital they were caring...they would give you the shirt off their backs if they seen you needed it...

The NYPD and NYFD have a things where they gather clothes, gloves, shoes, coats, hats for the homeless people and they take them around on the streets and give them out to the people...

I never had a problem with New York people, nor did I have a problem in New Jersey or PA...I personally like them...

There is no problem. Wait until they find out that Ted has a car loan! He is owned by Ford!!!!!! Though Ted wasn't the one that wanted to bail out the car companies. It was some other guy. A very liberal guy. Rhymes with chump. Who was that again?

It would be ironic if Trump won the election, in the GOP, with the evangelicals, conservatives, and establishment republicans sitting out, and the DEMs pushing him over the top.

Did Donald Trump represent first principles before the Supreme Court and win every time?

No. In fact, Donald Trump does not know nor is he interested in the Constitution or defending it.

Why is Donald Trump pro-abortion, even pro-partial-birth abortion?

Why has he given lots of his money to Planned Parenthood?

Why would he not defend life at it fundamental level?

Oh, that's right HE is going to make America great again.

As do I. My dad was a New Yorker, and brash as well. But, he was also loving and kind - people just don’t understand them. They live in a hustle and bustle way of life and they keep their noses on the task at hand. Some of the people on this forum are just snobs who think they are better than anyone else.

Ted just started another war between the states because he was slipping in Iowa.

I don’t want to trade one divider in chief for another.

You might be wasting your breath on these Cruzbots. They have found their Messiah - St. Cruz - and he has replaced Jesus in their lives as their Savior. He can do no wrong in their eyes - he walks on water and turns the water into wine, doncha know?

“Why is Donald Trump pro-abortion, even pro-partial-birth abortion?”

Trump has changed his position on abortion; you know that, so what does that make you?

You are right about the Cruz and the grassroots facade. I heard him on Hannity a few days before the debate. He kept talking about the donations under 50 dollars and how his campaign was “true” grassroots. I have no doubt that he didn’t want these loans to be public knowledge.

I understand. Head in the sand.

But between me and you, there are some big issues surfacing regarding Mr. Cruz. Goldman Sachs connections are one them.

Ironically, Trump is raking in tons of small donations without hammering his following for $$$ every ten minutes.

Not ironic. That is what will happen if Trump wins the nomination. He IS a liberal Democrat. That is why he has such so-called crossover appeal. He is one of them.
