No. At the debate Trump merely agreed with (”liked”) one particular comment about foreign countries dumping goods in the USA. A NRO agitprop piece speculates Trump is dropping hints Kasich might be in the VP running. For spin to be effective it has to be plausible and this is an complete failure. My preference (right now) is Dave Brat.

I wish they’d both end the pissing contest and get back to the issues. I’d like to know if either plans to make the gov’t smaller, how they’d handle ISIS and the refugees, how they stand on amnesty, how much my taxes will go up, what about health care and how to make it affordable and the list goes on. Forget the personal attacks guys. Give us some information on where you stand on the issues and forget about the ticky tac stuff.

While I think most people understood what Cruz was trying to say, it just seemed to come across that he was throwing all New Yorkers under the bus. So while I agree with what he was trying to do, his delivery backfired on him. Hey, it happens in a campaign. Trump has said many things I've just shaken my head at.
Agreed. I've missed the last two debates and in the back of my mind, I'm still waiting for Trump to finally say the outrageous comment that he can't recover from. I'm amazed it hasn't happened.

and this is exactly why Trump’s turning out large numbers of people, many of which are democrats. They are not there because of some conservative hope. They’re there because they know in their hearts that trump hates republicans. I contend this will NOT turn into votes, particularly in closed primary states.
