For all the arguments that went on for years on this web site, talk radio and many other sites about Obama's eligibility.... If Cruz is eligible because his mom was a U.S. Citizen, then so is Obama because his mom was a U.S. Citizen.... Just saying!
This has not gone unnoticed. Makes me nervous as to how some may view “shall not be infringed”. Another plainly worded law.

The “relevant statutes” is the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1952, which granted Ted Cruz U.S. citizenship by naturalization at birth. This Act made Ted Cruz a naturalized U.S. citizen, which is the opposite of a natural born citizen. Arnold Schwarznegger is a naturalized U.S. citizen, and he is not eligible to be POTUS. Ted Cruz is a naturalized U.S. citizen, and he too is not eligible to be POTUS.

Because Ted Cruz was born in the foreign state of Canada with Canadian citizenship, he acquired U.S. citizenship by grant pursuant to the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1952 provision for the child born abroad with a U.S. citizen parent to be made a naturalized U.S. citizen at birth.
A misconception that many on this subject adhere is using the term “natural born” and “native born” as if they were synonymous....they are not.
