A spokesman for Sen. Ted Cruz's presidential campaign said Tuesday it would be a "blow" to former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin if she endorsed businessman Donald Trump for president.
"I think it [would] be a blow to Sarah Palin, because Sarah Palin has been a champion for the conservative cause, and if she was going to endorse Donald Trump, sadly, she would be endorsing someone who's held progressive views all their life on the sanctity of life, on marriage, on partial-birth abortion," Cruz campaign spokesman Rick Tyler said on CNN's "New Day."

It's all speculation at this time, until we see who the endorsement would be. What I don't get, if it's true, would be Cruz's campaign saying negative things about Palin. At this juncture, she is the ONLY Republican woman who once in a leadership role didn't back down on conservative principles.
I would assume that if Palin does support Trump, it's because there's an insiders take about Cruz's problems that they know won't go away.
MSNBC now reporting Sarah could appear with trump in Ames later today (6pm EST)
Also reporting it will be John wayne’s daughter appearing with trump earlier today.

Sarah would be the kill shot before Iowa caucus - great strategy for Trump to kill the opponent as early as possible.

I call BS on that. This election is not about electing a pastor or spiritual leader.

Cruz is right. Palin wouldn’t look good endorsing a moderate. Or a clown. Trump qualifies on both counts.

A note to Cruz...tell your campaign staff to drop their shovels and walk away from that hole they digging for you.
Your advisers are just making you appear desperate and, what supporters you have now, cringe with the thought of that you have devolved into someone they don’t recognize anymore.

I figure if Trump was born in a different country, it would be a front and center issue for the Cruz only supporters.

I love Sarah, she is in the class of Ronald Reagan when it comes to taking a stand and sticking to it forever. But I would prefer she not endorse Trump. Even though they are good friends I would prefer she stay neutral for now.
I’m not happy with Trump trashing everyone in his way. That is nothing like how Sarah handled things. I am taking a wait and see on some aspects of Trump. I would like her to influence Trump to come more up to her standards and character, before she endorses him.
And the Rubio supporters, and the Jeb supporters, and the Carley supporters, and the Paul supporters, and the Christie supporters, and the Carson supporters ...
They all stand in opposition to their opponents! Quelle surprise!
