Per your post......EXACTLY!

I was for Cruz for over a year......although a few red flags kept popping up....
but when he dissed Sessions over the trade bill, and obfuscated his responses.....Big Red Flag....

I was at the point of.....Where do I go now????

Enter Trump...with his big beautiful wall!

Trump doesn’t pander.

That’s why thousands attend every rally, venue permitting.

He says what he thinks.

TRUMP DOES NOT PANDER.

You didn’t hit any nerve. You shamed yourself. Youe cheesy innuendo was a very left tactic. You might as well be Hillary.

Too bad, it won’t work anyway.

". . .Ted has been for "phasing out" that mandate for years ...

You mean for both years of this, his first term in the Senate ?

And how many of his fellow Senators did he convince to vote for his bill to end or phase out ethanol mandates ? What was the number of that bill, too, I can't seem to find it.

totally agree. Some are like kids who keep posting anti Trump or Cruz threads when infact we have two decent candidates running.

I have seen kids act more mature than a handful of freepers lately and this bickering must be giving the establishment and the socialists a good laugh.

Trump was a Dem, he went to Clintons wedding. Well Reagan was a Dem and Trump plays his business card to get money and deals.
But Trump called Cruz nasty, oh get over it as I am sure after Cruz will after this. Grow a pair.

But Cruz took out a loan from Goldman Sachs, so frigging what, he needed the money and paid it back.
But Cruz is not American, well there is a massive interpretation for people more qualified than I on that, but as far as I am concerned then he is eligible to run.

Ethanol subsidies may have to be phased out for practical reasons. I might not like what is now in place but ethanol is not even on my radar as a reason to reconsider support for Trump. Cruz has his limited resume and Trump has his very comprehensive resume. Over time Cruz can learn whatever he needs to for any job he wants. Trump is already capable and able and willing to successfully take on the whole rotten govt that the Obama administration and their handlers have imposed on America and her people. Patriotism and resume for the job to be done fits Trump.

Cruz is a lawyer who has worked for the govt all his life. His private stint in a law firm was dealing with govt related items. He is a hypocrite that shouts limited govt yet earned his bread from govt alone.

” Full disclosure: I was a Cruz supporter before Trump got in. I voted in Texas to help Ted win his Senate race, then donated to his presidential campaign four times, until he cast his aye vote for TPA.

You could almost say that Ted set me up to switch to Trump - by casting his TPA vote, then his aye vote on the reviled Corker bill, his support for increasing H1-B visas, his refusal to say what he’d do about the millions of illegals in the country, etc.”

I think you will find that hundreds of FReepers abandoned Cruz for these very reasons.

Well Pro, I think I'll just neutralize your anti-American vote and ask KC to put me ON the Sarah Palin ping list.

Anti-American? Really?

You and I have had some pleasant conversations over the years, FRiend.

Calling me that because we disagree is flat wrong.

Shame on you.

“Amazing how most of the true conservatives are acting more and more like liberals, whereas most of the

liberal Trumpanzees are the ones who are for freedom of opinion. “

Your chief problem is that you have more than your share of common sense. Well, we’ll soon put an end to THAT!!

I was never a fan of Palin.

I was never a fan of Cruz.

I was never a fan of Trump.

Trump has won me over at this point. He may be a slightly watered down version of Cruz, but his ability to captivate audiences and bring a non-politician background to the forefront is enticing to a lot of potential voters. I think he has the best chance to win, and to win against the democrat nominee.

Wonder why she snubbed Cruz?

Over the past few years, it's seemed to me that Palin is more concerned with being a celebrity in the limelight than with promoting conservative ideology. She has her reality shows, Trump had his, so they're a good match.

And I'm not saying this because I'm kneejerk anti-Trump, but because I don't really take Sarah Palin very seriously politically. If making a public spectacle of herself and her family is her goal, then it makes sense to latch onto the candidate who is the best self-promoter.

Sarah genuinely likes the spotlight.

I do not believe that Trump will have the opportunity to name anyone as a running mate, so we may never know the answer to your prognostication.

Judging by my email inbox people are flocking away from Palin in droves at this moment.

Very invidious and short-sighted of them, at best.
