That is absolutely true. The question is whether any of it makes a difference to voters on the fence.
70% or so don’t support DT. Is it possible that as their candidates drop out they will not go DT?

It’s apparent from the diehard Cruz supporters on FR that if Cruz doesn’t win, they will NOT vote. They’ll instead stay home and have a little pity party.
Trump supporters (including me) OTH will gladly vote for Cruz should things take a turn. We live in the real world.
You just nailed it! A leader is what we must have to reverse the nosedive this country is in. Take it or leave it, there is no other leader on the horizon. Cruz can’t even lead his own party in the Senate. Trump is proven successful in high stakes business. I’m not voting for another get nothing done politician.

A massive cognitive dissonance will follow. They will claim, “at least Trump SPOKE... Trump was blackmailed into it, the REAL Trump would have kicked the illegals out and built the wall (with the most beautiful door), with his OWN money. Trump has the money for the wall, but THEY stopped him. Trump atleast SPOKE! wah wah”, when Trump switches to the Democratic party a week after his coronation and works with the dems to give blanket amnesty.

I am in that frame of thought too, only I also realize that Trump is in line with about 80% of the conservative issues. So he is a leader without ties to special interests (big benefit) who mostly agrees with my thinking. (Especially about political correctness — which I believe is sapping our freedom).
I also believe Trump will gain the appeal of disenfranchised dems as time goes on because he will choose positions that help the general middle class. (His words anyway). Who would not want jobs over welfare, if the jobs provided a better life?

Over the past years and election cycles they’ve blown their credibility.
It is exactly because of people who wrote these articles (with exceptions like Thomas Sowell) that Trump gained so much traction. It is a reaction against the GOPe and NR crowd.
So how could their anti-Trump issue do anything but reinforce to Trump supporters that they are right?
I supported Trump for a while. He won me over til he started impugning Cruz’ integrity and I found out he is a Soros associate.
Trump is not the guy we need. But this NR crowd isn’t either and their arguments are not good.
No, it doesn’t seem so (according to Wikipedia). They were criticized for accepting Jewish members as well as those of other minority religions.
However, I think Mr. D’Souza was listing the John Birch Society and “people who were anti-Semitic” as separate items, not as two ways of identifying the same group.

(Not so sure about the ‘gladly’ part, but God willing, would definitely vote for Cruz against any Dem.)
Iowa caucus is just 9 days away. Followed by New Hampshire 8 days later.
After that, the race will most likely be down to the two front runners, and those who poll for the "also rans" will likely decide which of the top two they prefer.
I predict that after "Super Tuesday" on March 1, we will know who the nominee will be.

It isn’t. F.R. consists of very conservative voters and activists. The country as a whole, doesn’t care that much.
What is the point? Two progressives fighting it out? No thanks! I don’t like NR b/c they have become GOP-E suck-ups. But, Donald is not a Constitutionalist or a conservative. No conservative supports Kelo.
I think your question should also be: where was DT when they were lynching McDaniel in Mississippi?
The libs and RINOs don't seem to understand that most of Trump's supporters can actually think for themselves and don't need "groupthink" or a bunch of pseudo intellectuals to tell us how to think.

Absolutely possible. I’d guess 95% will vote for DT over Hillary, the other 5% will not vote.
