Sara versus Beck as a Trump[ supporter will improve the Trump lead.

Waterloo effect. Thanks Beck!

Headline a bit misleading.

You can't gain on something unless you're trying to catch up.

Like Satchel Paige would say: "Don't look back. Something might be gaining on you."

From that poll:

A third of Republican caucus-goers say they may change their mind (33 percent). Even one in four Trump supporters says they may ultimately go with another candidate (25 percent).

Cruz tops the list when GOP caucus-goers are asked their second-choice candidate.

- snip -

Among just those Republicans who have caucused before, it’s a 3-point race: Trump 28 percent vs. Cruz 25 percent. Another 10 percent go for Rubio.

True conservative values is the top characteristic GOP caucus-goers want in their party’s nominee (27 percent), closely followed by telling it like it is (24 percent) and being a strong leader (23 percent). Those traits outrank nominating someone who can win in November (9 percent) or has the right experience (7 percent).

The question remains: what happens when this becomes a three or four person race? It will sort out very quickly. Trump has a solid plurality with about third of the vote in current polling. His biggest advantage is simply that the media is covering him 24/7 and the rest of the field has disappeared. When the field shrinks, a serious challenger will emerge.

Fox has an agenda against Cruz, but nevertheless even in their poll it shows when they asked only Caucus goers of 4 years ago, different story.

Fox new national Poll shows no change between Trump and Cruz, Trump only up by 14, yet they want us to believe a huge swing in IOWA.

Dont forget 2 local polls finds Cruz up by 3, and Trump up by 1.

The only question is will the polls that show Trump up by good margin, determine how Iowans vote? That is the hope of the pollsters and their clients.

Hey people we thought once reasonable at FR have been persuaded to check their brains and so called values at the door for Trump, so we shall see.

Interesting.

This is the first thread I’ve seen in a while where the personal attacks seem to have calmed down a bit. Hope it’s not just my imagination.

It even has a humorous post from Laz and a humorous pic of Yeb! getting the boot.

It might be simply that the snow kept the paid disruptors off the net this morning. Or, just maybe, civilized discourse is sneaking back to FR.
