Franklin Graham: "Islam and Christianity Clearly Do Not Worship the Same God" [2 John 1]
Breitbart ^ | 1/24/2016 | Thomas D. Williams, Ph.D

Muslims and Christians do not worship the same God, celebrated evangelist Franklin Graham said in response to the controversial claim by a faculty member at Wheaton College in Illinois. In a series of tweets late Saturday night, Graham, the son of evangelist Billy Graham, laid out his opposition to the recommendation of the college’s faculty council that the school drop its plans to terminate a professor who published her belief that Islam and Christianity worship the same God, which Graham said was "no minor issue." In December 2015, Larycia Hawkins, who teaches political science at Wheaton College, was put on administrative leave after wearing a hijab to school in solidarity with Muslims. Wheaton is a private evangelical Christian college, which has sometimes been called the "evangelical Harvard" because of its reputation for academic rigor.

Hawkins announced that she would wear the hijab to demonstrate support for Muslims in the aftermath of the shootings in Paris and San Bernardino, California. She also used the gesture as a platform to express her belief that Christians and Muslims worship the same God. In a separate Facebook post, Graham said both his father and mother attended Wheaton College, where they met for the first time. "I'm surprised and disappointed that the faculty council there is now recommending the college drop their plans to terminate a professor who published that she believed Islam and Christianity worship the same God in December. This is no minor issue that should be debated," Graham wrote...

2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

Hawkins quoted Pope Francis, "Muslims worship the one living and merciful God, and call upon him in prayer". However the Bible shows that Christianity and Islam are diametrically opposed on all the most important issues. The Islamic Moon god, Allah, is a singular entity while the Christian God is triune (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). Muslims view Jesus Christ as a prophet while Christianity says He is God, the second member of the triune Godhead. True Christianity declares Jesus to be God incarnate and born of a virgin, while Islam says that Allah is unknowable. For Christians, the deity of Christ is a non-negotiable, for without His deity, Jesus' death on the cross would not have been sufficient as an atoning sacrifice for the sins of the entire world (1 John 2:2). Islam demands the death of the Kaffir to atone for a Muslim's sins.

Islam adamantly rejects the deity of Christ with the Qur’an declaring the idea that Jesus is God to be blasphemy (5:17). Belief in the deity of Christ is considered shirk (“filth”) to Muslims. Further, Islam denies the death of Christ on the cross (4:157-158). The most crucial doctrine of the Christian faith is rejected in Islam. As a result, the two religions are absolutely not compatible, making Chrislam a concept both Christians and Muslims should reject.

Some current proponents of Chrislam are Rick Warren, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, late Robert Schuller, Glen Beck, Tony Campolo, Brian Maclaren, Joel Osteen, and Pope Francis. Chrislamic people themselves see no problem with the basic unity of the two religions, because they say that God loves all people and wants us to love all people. President Obama's former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright is quoted as saying, "I made it [Chrislam] comfortable for him [Obama] to accept Christianity without having to renounce his Islamic background."

the KEY difference is that the Judeo-Christian Biblical God is love, and He teaches justice, mercy, and ....love

whereas Allah teaches his followers to murder, ambush, subjugate, and rape innocent Christians, Jews, and other human beings.

In Christian terms, ‘By their fruits ye shall know them...” (Matthew 7:16). An intelligent person needs nothing more complex than that to discern that Allah is evil/Satan, and most definitely (!!!) NOT God.

It’s about Christianity’s Jesus Christ as God and the Son of God

versus

the Islamic “God” (”Allah”) which is really the spirit of anti-Christ.

It is clear that Islam is evil. That is why the leftists want them here. The left always sides with evil.

Thank God for Franklin Graham and for giving him the courage to call Islam what it is; a deceptive, evil cult.

Obviously not. Unless, of course, you are the current Pope.

2Jo 1:1

¶
The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;

2Jo 1:2

For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.

2Jo 1:3

Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

2Jo 1:4

¶
I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.

2Jo 1:5

And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

2Jo 1:6

And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

2Jo 1:7

¶
For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

2Jo 1:8

Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

2Jo 1:9

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

2Jo 1:10

If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

2Jo 1:11

For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

2Jo 1:12

¶
Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.

2Jo 1:13

The children of thy elect sister greet thee. Amen.

The increasing spirit of anti-Christ around the world and driven by Islam will challenge Christians to embrace, focus, and confess Jesus Christ more than ever.

This is a good thing - believers shedding shyness about confessing and embracing the person of Jesus Christ.

Yes! However many churches in America are marching headlong into the Chrislam heresy because of Political Correctness. This message needs to be repeated ad nauseam...

In the Koran or any of the Hadith writings based on the Koran, there are no equivalents of either the “Golden Rule” (Do unto others as you would have them do unto you) or any reference to the Ten Commandments.

Whether some scholars wish to admit it or not, almost all modern law codes in Western countries that claim a Christian heritage are based on these concepts.

Shari’ah Law is based on getting revenge on those who have disrespected Mohammed Ali, the “prophet” of Islam, and is totally incompatible with existing law codes in most non-Islamic countries.

Islam has encoded in its teachings- murder, lying, plunder, slavery, rape, warfare, and even terrorism as part of its official religious doctrine. Jesus said that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, and this is exactly what Islam has done from its beginning. No other religion so completely fits the description in the Bible of the beast and false prophet than Islam.

Islam is different from all the other religions that do not believe in Jesus, because Islam officially declares that Jesus is not the Son of God (Quran 4: 171; 18: 4-5), which is the Biblical definition of Antichrist: "Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the Antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son" (1 John 2: 22).

The spread of Islam has left a trail of blood, suffering, and destruction like no other ideology in world history. History, and even this present age, shows us that Islam is a very violent and fascist religion, full of hate for Christians and Jews. No one could invent a more evil cult.

But, there are those among Christians who are working for Antichrist as well, and, often they don’t even know it.

A thought crossed my mind today at church as we were worshiping our Lord and Savior in song...

Do Muslims sing songs of worship to Allah...?

Christians sing songs of love and adoration because he first loved us...

I’ve never heard a Muslim speak of Allah love, just his wrath...

Right.

This may help Christians to better realize what the spirit of anti-christ is all about.

Unfortunately for me, I’m Episcopal from birth and have always attended services there. I tend to have some less than cordial discussions with many in my congregation, as they are big believers in the Coexist crap. (Among other tenets that I find to be sinful.)

My time in the Middle East only cemented my belief that Islam is evil in its most pure form here on Earth. Communism is pure statism, but Islam is pure evil. No wonder they get along so well and unite in their quest to destroy us and our Faith.
