You bet.

One the brave signers of our Declaration of Independence was a relative, Stephen Hopkins.

Another relative, helped to write the letters of discontent, that was sent to Krazy King George. He had to flee NY with 5 young daughters and his wife to Virginia to avoid being killed by Krazy Kindg George’s redcoats.

Well, good for you. What a privileged heritage. Of course as believers, we have the heritage of Abraham and are co-heirs with Christ. But you must have an ardent love of independence and freedom running through your veins.

I don’t know exactly why I have this stuff in my veins. I grew up in Palo Alto, CA, the epicenter of Leftism, my Dad being a staunch socialist and and M.D. who thought socialized medicine was the cat’s meow. I feel like I’ve always been on a different wavelength from all of that - don’t know why.
